The Verdict - Never again. Not even for free.
Just the Facts - I got my one and only French Kiss bubble bar at the LUSH grand opening party. It was right around Valentine's Day so the shop was giving away this romantically themed bubble bar free with a $50 purchase. Well all I can say is that I'm glad I didn't shell out $7.95 of my hard-earned dollars for this bubble bar as I really hated it.
It looks like a giant Hershey's kiss but white and purple. And you can't eat it. Well you could eat it but you'd soon regret doing so. Anyway, it is cute and has pretty colors and it smells kind of nice like lavender while it is in solid form.
The user is supposed to crumble all or part of the bubble bar under running water, (allegedly) creating masses of fragrant bubbles and "conjures all things French and fabulous with is provencal blend of lavender, rosemary, and thyme. Well the thing was so hard that I had to smash it with the metal bathtub plug and ended up using the whole thing. I like to use half for one bath and half for another. It created hardly any bubbles. It created a very unappetizing shade of grey water that looked worse than laundry water. And it smelled like absolutely nothing nor did it give off any kind of soothing or moisturizing oils. The whole experience was a bust.
Star Power - *1 measly, grudingly awarded star* only because it looks kind of cute and smells nice in solid form. Other than that there are no redeeming qualities to this bubble bar.
