I have really weird skin. I'm pushing 40 yet I still break out like a teenager so I'm at this weird crossroads with my skin. I'm still fighting acne but need to start taking better care of my skin so I don't look like an old baseball glove when I'm 60. My skin is fairly oily so I think my face in general is still looking pretty good and will continue to do so. But it's the crow's feet and laugh lines that have me a bit worried. I've tried lots of products over the last 2 years or so to tackle those lines and get them under control but without much luck.
A few months ago while on a LUSH shopping spree I decided to give their Enchanted Eye Cream a whirl at $20.95 for 1.5 ounces. It comes in a small black bottle with a press down top which dispenses the cream. This little bottle is notorious for being hard to press and when it does finally depress it shoots the eye cream out of the hole at the speed of light. So I've learned to cup my hand over the hole so it doesn't fly out all over my bathroom and me. The cream is pure white in color and is, surprisingly, unscented although it is loaded with lavender honey water and almond oil. I just expected it to smell like something and not nothing. Regardless, it has a nice consistency and is fairly moisturizing. A little goes a long way and I only need one small squirt of product for both eyes.
But that's about all. It moisturizes but after a few weeks of use I have not noticed any difference in the fine (and not so fine) lines around my eyes. I will continue to use it as a general moisturizer and I like that it is unscented but am disappointed that it really didn't do anything to turn back the hands of time.
