OK I didn't actually buy this product on purpose. Well actually kind of, but not really. Let me explain.
A few months ago LUSH came out with these kits specially designed for different skin types. So I got the kit for oily skin and it came with a soap I like, a moisturizer, and this stuff called Eau Roma Water which is sort of a toner. I bought the kit to get the soap, try the moisturizer, and to get my hands on the 20% off coupon enclosed in the kit so the toner was not really a priority for me.
I generally don't even really understand the purpose of using toner so I don't use them often. But since I had this one I decided to give it a try and see what it would do for me. The bottle of Eau Roma Water that came with my kit is a purse size spritz bottle that holds just a fraction of an ounce. It sprays out of the bottle in a fine mist which feels good on my skin. It smells like roses though which kind of turns me off. I love the smell of a fresh, live rose from my garden but I don't like that scent on my face. The scent is light and dissipates quickly. It moistens and refreshes my skin and I imagine it would feel good on a hot summer day but right now it's winter in Michigan and I don't feel the need to spritz my face with cold liquid.
LUSH.com states that this product cools and softens older, drier or more sensitive skin and that it's supposed to help control oil. I have not noticed any change in my skin from using this product even after using up nearly all of the liquid in the bottle. It smells OK and is refreshing but I think the same effect could be accomplished with some mineral water and a bit of moisturizer mixed in that bottle.
Bottom line - It just seems to be expensive, scented water that really doesn't do anything positive for my skin. Save your $16.
