The Bio-Fresh Face Masks that LUSH makes caught my attention many months ago. They are sold only in company shops so I had to just "suck it up" and drive the hour south to Atlantic City to purchase them. One of the first few masks that I tried (and hands down the best one available at the moment) was A Crash Course In Skin Care.
LUSH's face masks contain loads of fresh ingredients including seaweed, kiwi, blueberries, honey, clay, avocado, grapes, cocoa powder, eggs, papaya, yogurt, and many essential oils. They are loaded with active enzymes and must be kept refrigerated. They are completely preservative-free and expire 3 weeks after their manufacture date. My pot of Crash Course was made on June 25 by Sarah and expired on July 16.
A Crash Course In Skin Care contains avocado, clay, yogurt, talc, lemon juice, some essential oils and other things like glycerine. It is described as "a simple pot of avocado and yogurt" and "just what your mum would make if she knew what she was doing." Out of the container, this mask smells like lemons, yogurt, and a dash of avocado. I think the fragrance is divine.
Spreading this product on skin is extremely easy. A little goes a long way as it is a thin mask. Once it is on skin, the mask requires between 5 and 8 minutes to dry completely so it can be removed. This product rinses off very easily and will be completely gone from your face within 15 seconds. After using Crash Course my skin looks smoother, more hydrated, and less red than it has been known to be when one spends many hours out in the sunshine here on the Jersey Shore.
I love using this mask because it feels pleasantly cool on my normal-to-combination skin. I can always use calming, cleansing, and moisturizing action on my face. I've never had any kind of allergic or unpleasant reaction due to A Crash Course In Skin Care. Each experience that I've had with this mask has been a cooling and soothing one that resulted in improved skin condition.
Of all of LUSH's 9 fresh face masks, I must recommend this one as the absolute best. I will buy this product every time I visit a LUSH shop for as long as it is availble. I think everyone needs to take A Crash Course In Skin Care.
