What the product description doesn't tell you is how incredibly abrasive and harsh Buffy is. I am a huge fan of very strong, harsh exfoliating scrubs so this item was perfect for me. My guess is that most people (let's say 75%)...

First off let me preface this by saying I love all things Lush!! My now husband turned me on to it 6 years ago when we first started dating. His landlord's girlfriend told him he should order some for me for Christmas and I am so glad he did. I have no doubt that had something to do with our future marriage! :) Buffy The Backside Slayer is pure Heaven on earth, as our most of Lush's products. It has just the right amount of exfolliant and creamy moisturiser. It has a nice, pleasant smell. Now it is important to cut it into smaller pieces before taking it into the shower with you. ...

Okay, let me start by saying, I am a total Lushie. I love all of their products and this is my favorite of the body bars. Rice and almonds smooth your skin, and the shea butter gives it the most divine moisturizing you will ever experience. To top it off the lavender is soothing.
The Buffy Bar is the perfect exfoliating experience; it does not dry your skin and it moisturizes without leaving a greasy feeling. When you have indulged your self to a Buffy Bar rub down, you are left feeling silky and smooth.

I discovered Buffy while vacationing in Hawaii...and I fell in love!!! I am now a certified Lushy! LOL! I do love the exfoliating factor. The ONLY drawback is that you have to be careful when you get back into the shower/tub...it's SLICK!!
If you live in a cold weather area, you are going to adore this product during the winter!! It will help get rid of those dry patches, the scaly skin, and the ick of winter!!
I do use this AFTER I shave, not before! I don't need any other moisturizers! And I have less problems with ingrown hairs!
