If it comes from the sea, it must be good for me! One of my favorite features of all LUSH products is that they expire, meaning, they are fresh and natural. I love that they aren't filled with toxic chemicals and harmful preservatives. The LUSH BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask is no exception. Made with real ingredients from the ocean, it nourishes your face by providing deep moisture relief. I love to use the Seaweed mask when my skin is feeling especially dry. It goes on smoothly and rinses off clean while leaving my skin feeling like it just soaked in lotion. The ingredient list is impressive, and the container allows me to use up every last drop. It's perfect for virtually every skin type. I have normal skin, but during the winter months, it gets pretty dry. That's when I use this mask the most. I love Lush and all their products but I have to say that this was not my favorite of their face masks. I loved the idea of a seaweed mask but it left a bit to be desired. Lush products are made with fresh ingredients so they don't last a long time normally but this is one that has an especially short shelf life. I was told by the sales clerk to keep it in the fridge so it would last longer but even that did not help much. This lasts for about a week at room temperature and maybe ten to fourteen days in the fridge. Since a jar holds about enough for four masks that's a lot of masks over the course of ten days! This is a wonderful splurge if you're on vacation and want to give yourself a nice spa experience at home. You can soak the bath every night and use this mask. But if you're squeezed for time and you forget to use it it just goes bad and must be thrown out. This is very easy to apply, if a bit gooey. It never dries so there's no real cue that it's time to take it off. I just wash my face, apply the mask, relax in the bath, and take off the mask as the water gets cold and I'm ready to get out anyway. This leaves my skin very clean and soft and does not irritate my sensitive skin. It never ever makes me break out or gives me any redness. Overall this is a great product but you have to remember to use it quickly or it can become a very expensive single use mask!

I usually can't get enough of the LUSH face masks, but this one was really disappointing for me. When I used this mask, I honestly felt like it did absolutely nothing for my skin. It was as if I didn't put anything on as all. I was hoping this product would make my skin appear brighter and healthier, but it really didn't do anything. It didn't soften my skin, get rid of dead skin, brighten, tighten or anything. The scent of this product was just alright... LUSH products are supposed to be more natural and better for the skin than other brands, but this product smelled kind of chemically to me. I didn't really like that. However, it didn't break out my sensitive skin. I would highly recommend that you pick up any of LUSH's other masks. All of the others are amazing. However, this one just didn't like my skin at all. It was useless. Stay away from this LUSH mask. It really isn't worth the money at all.

This is AMAZING. I absolutely LOVE Lush face masks. I first tried the seaweed not long ago and fell instantly in love. First of all, Lush products are all natural and are FRESH. The facemasks actually need to be used within three weeks of purchase typically and must be kept refrigerated. This adds a wonderful cooling effect when you use it. I have used both Seaweek and Oat and both have left my skin feeling renewed and clean once I washed off the product. The amounts they give you in the tubs are also incredibly generous and can be spread across at least 2 uses as long as you aren't gobbing the mask onto your face (a little goes a long way!). These masks all smell wonderful and are great for use on dry and sensitive skin (my skin type). The mask leaves skin feeling moisturized and healthy. What is great too is that you can leave these on for about 10 minutes and not worry about face irritation (I love using these best when I can relax in a bubble bath and get the full treatment!) I cannot say enough good things about these masks or this company!

I love LUSH products and their natural ingredients and think this is a great mask, however because there are no preservatives in the mask you have to use it very fast or it goes to waste. The Seaweed mask is great for combo skin and anti aging. Usually you have about one week before it "expires" so it's not something you can have on hand and leave lying around until you want to use it. You kind of have to plan a week when you want to do a couple masks or invite a girlfriend over so you can share it. I think one tub probably does three to four masks depending on how much you use. So, in short, it's great stuff but you have to use it face to get your money's worth. Scent very light, natural scent
