This is probably my favorite lush soap, and I try to make sure that I get enough every year to last me for as long as possible. The soap is colorful, with a nice fruity scent. The soap is good for everyday use, and it doesn't dry out your skin. It lathers nicely, but still lasts for quite a while. I usually by the soap in a large bar, then cut that up into smaller bars, so that it lasts longer. The one problem with the soap is that it is only available around christmas time. The best day to buy it is definitely Boxing Day (the day after christmas) when they have a buy one get one free sell for their christmas items, both in stores and online. If you ever get the chance to see the soap in its full form, its easier to understand why its a christmas soap. Effectiveness I have had some skin problems in the past, with break outs and alerigic reactions, but this soap has never caused me any problems. Scent fruity clean smell

I do like this product but I don't completely LOVE it. The best thing about this product is the appearance; there's no denying when you see this soap in person at the store that it is a very lovely, aesthetically pleasing creation by LUSH. It really is delightful and fun looking. As for the effectiveness and scent... The soap lathers up alright. It lathers up better than the other LUSH soap bar I use, Rockstar. It gets the job done. The scent isn't as fantastic as I expected based off of the other product scents it has been compared to, but it's fine and tolerable for me. To conclude this review, I really think the main appeal of this soap is that frankly, it's just nice to look at. That is not to say that this is a bad product or that I suggest to not buy it. I would buy the product again, I just don't think it's as much as a standout scent as some of LUSH's other products that I have used.

Frankly, I'm not entirely sure why this is a holiday soap as it smells more like summer to me with the citrusy goodness, but whatever. I'll take it whenever I can get it. This is a rather strange looking soap with all the weird colored chunks that make it look almost like a Jello mashup, but I can get over that. It does its job of cleansing and making you smell lovely and that's all that matters ... mostly. The clear glycerine base is not my favorite as it isn't quite as moisturizing as the creamier bases made from cocoa butters and such. For this reason it's not quite perfect for winter and more appropriate for summer when you need less moisture. The smell is lovely with the tangerine and orange scent but not spicy like some orangey soaps, which is nice, and quite refreshing. Overall, it's a good soap, but it's not fabulous. I would be devastated if it didn't come back, but it's a good soap and I do get a piece when I see it in the store.

I love citrus soaps, so I think that is why I managed to like this one. I am happy that it is not available year-round, however, because it is not something I would want to use all the time. I did stock up on it during the LUSH Christmas sale because it was 50% off. The color is really fun instead of some bland white soap. The smell is somewhat strong, but is fruity which makes it pleasant. It definitely melts pretty quickly since it's a bar. I would recommend storing it in some type of container so that it doesn't get super wet in the shower. The lather is not the best, but it does lather with a decent amount of water. It cleanses your skin well and rinses off very easily. The products are all vegan which is pretty cool. If this soap was a little bit cheaper, I would probably like it more. Don't get me wrong - I absolutely LOVE LUSH products, but this is not my absolute favorite. I'd stick with one of their better soaps that's available all year.

**The Verdict:**  Angels Delight is one of my favorite LUSH soaps.  I love the light fruity scent and the way that fresh scent wakes me up in the morning.  **Just the Facts:**  Angels Delight is a soap bar made by LUSH; a company that makes fresh, unique, animal-friendly bath, body, and beauty products.  LUSH makes giant wheels or bricks of soap and then cuts slices off of the block to whatever size the customer wants.  This particular soap is one that is usually only available around the winter holiday season and then not made again for a year so you have to get some when it's out and stock up for later in the year if you like it.  I like it so I generally buy at least 2 bars of Angels Delight at Christmas so that I can use small slices of it thru out the year when I get a craving. LUSH.com describes Angels Delight as follows: *Heavenly tangerine and orange-scented holiday soap**.**  Angel's Delight is a translucent, glycerin soap in bright pink, with interestingly colored celestial bodies (of soap) and a scattering of stars. Customers consistently tell us that it smells like jelly beans. Actually, we put toning tangerine and orange essential oils in it for a heavenly, fruity scent. * The reason that Angels Delight is one of my favorite soaps is two fold; the scent and the color.  The scent is very fruity and almost like a fruity punch you might serve at a holiday party. It actually reminds me very much of LUSH's Bob Holiday soap only without the winter spices like clove.  Angels Delight is strictly fruit.  The combination of orange, lime, and tangerine are truly delightful.  I also love the color which is generally hot pink with chunks of blue and purple mixed in however LUSH can be somewhat inconsistent as the product is handmade.  Most bars I have bought in the past are dark hot pink with blue chunks or purple with blue chunks.  The really odd thing is that the last bar I bought just a few weeks ago is lemon yellow.  Not sure where the yellow came from, but mine is yellow.  It still smells and works like Angels Delight, it just doesn't look anything like the picture on LUSH.com. Angels Delight cleanses well and rinses easily.  It is a joy to use as the scent is delightful.  It does not produce much lather but leaves me clean and not dried out.   **Closing Argument:**   ****Four**** stars for Angels Delight!  The fruity scent smells really good making it enjoyable to use.  Deducted one star because it melts pretty quickly and it's expensive.
