I only just started using self tanners this year, because I was tired of looking like Elvira in the middle of summer. My skin gets really pale over the winter, but it has warm undertones so I got the type for medium colored skin. First I'll say this does smell like tanning lotion, but the smell isn't off-putting - kind of a light lemon scent. Certainly not what I'd choose but not too offensive. I use it right after I get out of the shower and it goes on easily and evenly. It does take a while to fully absorb though - my skin usually feels a little tacky for about 15 minutes after application, during which time I just hang out naked until it dries. So that's a little annoying, but I haven't had problems with it getting on my clothes or sheets. I'd recommend using it at night right after showering, and taking a quick rinse-off shower in the morning if you're afraid of color transfer. Because I have warm undertones, the color turns out nice on me. It looks a lot like my natural tanned color but with a very faint hint of gold. And it gives my skin a subtle but very pretty shimmer. So I like the color, but if you have cool or neutral undertones it might not look so great. The first time I used it, it stained my fingernails a faint yellowish color, so I have to wash my hands very thoroughly, and soak my nails in a mild solution after using - which is kind of a pain. Still, I think this product is a good value, and it looks a lot better than some of the others I've tried, so I've been satisfied with it so far. I'm sure there are better self tanners out there, but this one is pretty good for the price.

I really love the results I can achieve by using L'Oreal's Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer. I usually tend to moisturize my skin with this daily moisturizer when I get out of the shower and my skin is freshly clean and damp. I rub the moisturizer in all over my body and my skin is nice and smooth and soft. I usually wait about five to ten minutes to wait until the moisturizer is fully absorbed into my skin and fortunately I never have to worry about it leaving behind stains on my clothes or sheets. This moisturizer leaves my skin with a very natural and subtle looking glow and I would most definitely recommend L'Oreal's Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer to anyone! Scent I am satisfied with the scent of L'Oreal's Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer but it is not my favorite scent. It is not a strong odor so it does not last longer than desired. Absorption It usually takes about five to ten minutes for this tanning moisturizer to fully absorb into my skin. It does not leave streaks or stains on my clothing or sheets. Effectiveness I love the natural looking glow I get when I moisturize with L'Oreal's Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer. Not only does it do a great job at moisturizing my skin but it also leaves my skin with a natural and subtle looking glow.

I brought the L'Oreal Sublime Glow daily moisturizer because it smelled great and when i tried it in the store. I love the look on my skin. I used it in the morning. When i applied the moisturizer my skin felt great. The lotion blended into my skin. My skin felt smooth. My skin did have a great glow of moisture. I kept smelling my arm because i just loved the scent. I felt hydrated all day while doing errands and moving a lot. I would recommend the L'Oreal Sublime glow to anyone, i love it that much. The price is great for what you are getting. The lotion does not feel cheap at all. Scent I love to smell, very fresh and clean. Absorption The moisturizer blended very well once i applied it to my skin. Went on smooth and not oily. Effectiveness Worked great for me. I love the shimmer my skin had once the moisturizer was applied. My skin felt smooth and fresh. My skin looks great after each use. It last a long time. My skin felt great all day long.

I am not a big fan of self tanners. I never seem to have very much luck at finding the right shade for me that looks natural. Plus, I have a hard time applying perfectly even. However, there are some times in the winter when I feel like I need a little color. People even ask me if I am ok because my skin looks so pale. I use self-tanners occassionally in the summer also to even out the difference between my arms and legs. My upper body always tans more than my lower half. L'Oreal Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer works well for me. I look for sales and coupons to help offset the slightly higher price. Scent Even though this isn't as offensive as some self tanners it still has that self-tanner smell. Absorption This goes on fairly easily. It absorbs nicely. Just make sure to apply this product evenly. I like to use a non-oily cleanser in the shower and exfoliate so I reduce any problems with uneveness or streaking. Effectiveness Everyone has different skin tone and color so tanning products are going to work different for each person. I have very pale skin when I do not get any sun. L'Oreal Sublime worked well at giving me color without making me look orange or fake. It does give skin a little color and the more you use it the darker the color will be to a certain degree. It does an awesome job at moisturizing. It has Vitamin E and other oils that really nourish my skin. It does have sparkly particles that make your skin shimmer. If you don't like this, then I would not try this product. L'Oreal Sublime is one of my favorite self-tanners.

Like the title says, I went from pale to Oompa Loompa after using this. It was terrible. For the benefit of the doubt if you're not super pale this might work for you. If you are pale though I do not recommend this. The color stays for a while, and honey, it's not the kind of color you want to be. Scent The scent was not bad. I was expecting it to have a chemical smell to it, but it didn't, and that's the only reason this is getting seven out of ten because honestly, it didn't have a pleasant smell either. Absorption Some of it absorb, but it didn't absorb quickly nor did it absorb all the way so I was left with this weird sticky residue. Since it's a self tanner type deal I was placed in this weird predicament. Do I wash it off? Will that make it look patchy? Yes I did, and yes it did. Effectiveness I'm at a cross here. I mean it was effective, it made me glow, but it wasn't the kind of glow I wanted. I was orange. Orange, orange. I thought it might add a touch of sun type of look, but man was I wrong. If I wasn't so pale, and maybe I had a bit of color to me it would not have been so severe, but the color it turned me was God awful.

In the winter my skin gets really really pale. I was actually going for a more "natural tan" look. I bought the tube for lighter skinned people to match my skin tone a little more evenly. This didn't work for me. It was a bit hard for me to get past the horrible smell. This stuff smelt like a lotion that has sat for too long, it sort of had a mildew scent to it. But i was really hoping to get a good color from it i built up a tolerance to just block the smell out. After a couple uses on my legs, arm, face, chest and neck i really couldn't notice much of a difference in my skin color. I did notice, my hands and nails were turning orange. Overall i did not like this product at all. It did not moisturize my skin, it was runny and had a terrible smell. I really wouldn't recommend this product. Scent The scent was so awful. It smelt like OLD lotion that had been sitting a while. Absorption This lotion seemed to absorb into my hands more than my areas of skin i was actually applying it to. Effectiveness I found this to be very ineffective. It did not moisturize my skin at all like it states, and the only glow i received from it was orange hands and nails. I definitely will not purchase this again.

I decided to stop subjecting my body to armful UV rays from the sun, and I have not sun tanned in about 5 years now, and even though I know it simply is much better for me, I still really miss the glow and healthy look a tan can give you. Not to mention that your skin looks smoother and with less dimples when you have a tan. I have used several different self-tanning lotion, the ones where your skin will develop a tan over a few hours (these never worked for me and always gave me the most unnatural look), and the ones like this L'Oreal Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer, which develops a slight tan over several days. This is by far the best type of formula if you want your tan to look natural. This product does smell a bit strong but I can get past that. It goes on very nicely and evenly, and over a week's period of time, you will start to see a change in the way your skin looks. This product does have a bit of a shimmer to it but I do not mind it at all, it can be very flattering and makes you glow. The one negative I will give this product is the fact that it will really stain your bed sheets over time, even if you wait a long time after applying the lotion. I guess sheets are washable, but over time the stains will tend to stick around. I wish they had a way to make it so it did not stain your clothes or bed sheets. Other than this minor issue, this is one of the better self-tanning products available on the market right now. Scent The scent can seem a bit strong for some but I was not bothered by it.

I purchased this product some time back and was quite happy with the product's effectiveness. All the products of L'Oreal are quality products and the ingredients used by the brand are safe for the skin and they do not cause rashes or any unwanted reactions to the skin. I mostly apply this moisturizer after having bath only so that the effect of this product lasts for the whole night. The moisturizer remains on the hands after using it and so I required washing my hands thoroughly after using it. This product of L'Oreal contains mango butter, sweet almond oil, and Vitamin E which work together to protect the skin from dryness and make the skin feel soft and smooth. The fragrance of this moisturizer gives me a heavenly feeling and it remains till I wake up in the morning. It also works as a sun protection cream and prevents your skin from getting tanned.

My natural skin color isn't very dark. I like to have a little color especially since I married an Italian and our kids inherited his olive complexion. I use self tanners most of the year. I was happy to find this product since it is designed to be a daily moisturizer. I think most self tanners have a strange odor. This one is no exception. I don't really like it but if you want the color you have to put up with it. This scent seemed to linger all day. It never really went away even at the end of the day. Luckily my husband seemed to like the scent. I guess it depends on the person. After using this for a month, I didn't feel like the color really showed at all, not even when I switched to the dark variety instead of medium. I noticed a subtle increase in color at first, but it stalled there and never got any darker. I knew it would be subtle but I was expecting a little darker than this. I just need something more effective.

Overall I would say that the L'Oreal Sublime glow daily moisturizer do es a great job of tanning and moisturizing. I will hydrate your skin and give it a soft sunny glow. It is a very light lotion and your skin will not feel like it has been oiled it is great for a day in the sun and gives your tan process that little boost it can always use. Scent There is not much scent associated with lotion, it seems to be like it is almost unscented Which is a good thing if you are going to go out on the town and plan to were your own personal scent. Absorption A small amount will go a long way, but after application be sure to wash your hands it will surely turn them orange every time. And when you have something that works this good and the only drawback is the orange skin then you have no choice but to try it! Effectiveness It is very effective giving you a soft glow and even softer skin. If you want a product that is going to work and have virtually no side effects you must use this product.
