L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow - Eva's Violets Review

I bought L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in the color scheme: Smokey Eyes and loved it, so I took a chance on L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in the shade Eva's Violets.  Unfortunately, this eye shadow quad is nothing like the great Smokey Eyes quad, so I am stuck with some mediocre eye shadow.

The title of the color scheme, Eva's Violets, is named after Eva Longoria who endorses this brand of make-up.  Apparently, these are the colors that she wears - good luck to her!  I am so disappointed in this eye shadow. 

L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Eva's Violets is an eye shadow quad that contains a purple/violet color scheme.  It includes a matte dark purple, matte white, matte pink and a frosty lavender color.  The only color I like in this set is the frosty lavender.  The other three colors which are matte, are poor-quality.  You can't even see them on your skin.  I have fair skin and I have to use several applications of the matte colors just to be able to see them.  I do like that the colors go well together, but if you can't get several of the colors to be noticeable, what's the point?

Besides the pink color, this is a nice set of colors, just poor-quality.  There has got to be a better quad of purple colors out there and I would not recommend this one.
