I love this company and I love this shampoo! I use this during the winter months when I am trying to battle dry, brittle hair. I also mix up my shampoo so I have tried a lot of them. This is one of my favorites! It works really well to hydrate your hair. I have really long, thick hair and it worked wonders on mine in the winter. My hair looked clean and strong. I had moisture and a shine to it that can be hard to come by during the cold season. This shampoo is also a reasonable price. It is a great look and it is affordable. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a moisture boost in your hair. Effectiveness This worked great for me. It gave my hair all the moisture it was lacking from the winter. It works so well that I do not think I would use it in the summer months. The moisture from this plus the natural oils from the sun and heat may be too much. It is a great fall and winter shampoo though! Scent It smells great. Use the conditioner with it and it will stay in your hair all day!

Shampoo Facts and Commentary: Loreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Pro Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner is a soapy- scented shampoo/conditioner that coats the hair and scalp with a cleaning and moisturizing mixture that super- moisturizes the hair, leaving it clean and soft to the touch. It is intended for those with dry hair and it promises to eliminate the dryness problem and leave the hair soft and manageable while also eliminating dry scalp conditions. I have dry hair and dry scalp, so I usually go for the products that work to eliminate dryness and cut down on the dry, itchy scalp that has become part of my life. What I have found is that Loreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Pro Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner does clean and condition the hair and scalp quite well, but the conditioning, at least for me, is often a little too extreme. My hair isn't as thick as it once was and conditioning at this level is often too much. The proof is in the way my hair looks afterward. It is flatter than usual and it makes my hair look thinner than it is- almost like I just got a haircut. For those with thicker hair and a problem with dryness, I can see how a product like this will make a noticeable difference. The moisturizing ability is very good and it makes the hair feel soft and touchable, all for a reasonable price. Bottom Line Viewpoint: My bottom line with Loreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Pro Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner is that it is a little too much conditioning for someone like myself whose hair is short and thin. It makes my hair look flat, but I agree that is has many good qualities and its conditioning abilities could be just right for those with excessive dryness problems. Effectiveness The effectiveness is good, but the conditioning and moisturizing abilities are a tad overdone. Scent The scent is average- soapy in smell and nothing memorable.

Loreal Pro Vive Hydra Gloss Shampoo was great. I have extremely dry hair. I have been dying it for several years. I also blow dry and use a flat iron daily. This has caused my hair to not only be dry and course, but it has also lost the luster it once had. Loreal Hydra Gloss shampo uses a royal jelly complex to restore moisture and shine to hair. This shampoo took my dry, damaged hair and gave me silky, soft strands after the first use!!

think how i missed this shampoo before while hunting the shampoo sections 4 a qualitative shampoo n conditioner 4 dry hair,frizz control,roughness,fly aways etc i used 2 spent hours reading the labels of shampoos inorder 2 find a remedy 4 my dry hair. day before yesterday was my 4th wedding anniversary and i wanted to change the shampoo n conditioner which i was using since i heard my husband complain of the nasty smell of 'that shampoo' which i don't wanna mention the brand name..huh!! n didnt do the purpose also... this time my hubby smelled each shampoo n conditioner n we finally decided on loreal hydrogloss shampoo n conditioner..lol.my goodness...it's sooo good especially the smell n i heard my hubby saying''now ur hair smells fresh'',my wedding anniversary gift..yay!! i should say the smell is 'gentle,fascinating n good to ones senses" shampoo n conditioner 'awesome 4 it's quality...serves the purpose.... leaves hair glossy n manageable..so frens who r tired of searching shampoos ,just go n pick this shampoo..it serves the purpose.... u wont believe yesterday i threw away 3 different brands of shampoo into the trash n only the loreal hydrogloss shampoo n conditioner is placed in my bathroom..lol

For a while there my hair was very frizzy and dry.  So i bought this and loved it.  It tamed the frizz and my hair felt so smooth and looked shiny.  The only problem is that it makes the hair too oily and it's not easy to rinse!  I like it though but not for every day use.

I am a couponer, and as such I get to try all different kinds of products, especially shampoos and conditioners. I had high hopes for L'Oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner but they fell short. The shampoo lathers up fine and does a decent job at cleansing my hair, but I really did not like the scent. It reminded me of sugary cupcakes, and not in a good way. The scent lingers in my hair too, but it could be that it is noticeable to me because I don't care for it. The conditioner seems to work well, but it left my hair feeling a little heavy and flat. It is better than some conditioners that leave my hair under-conditioned and scraggly, but I prefer a conditioner that leaves at least *some* body in my hair. Both products are okay, not the worst I've used but definitely not the best. I would not buy it again and do not recommend these products. I generally like L'Oreal as a company and do like pretty much every other L'Oreal product that I've tried, so the Vive Pro was a bit of a disappointment.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner I found that I really liked the smell of the product and that is why I bought it. I used the shampoo i felt like it made my hair hard and way to frizzy after shampoo it was hard to manage and it did not make my hair sllek or soft and smooth.

I got this shampoo and conditioner while it was on sale awhile back. I really like it as my hair is very fine, and it doesn't seem to wear my hair down. It moisturizes, and does a great job cleaning my hair. It also seems to leave my hair feeling soft and manageable. The cons to the shampoo and conditioner are that sometimes it left globs that fell to the bottom of my bathtub, and seemed harder to wash away. I was surprised how it didn't leave a residue in my hair for how well it seemed to stick to the bottom of my bathtub. With some effort, I was able to rinse it out of the bathtub though finally. It is a good price, and easy to find in the store. The bottles are great looking, and easy to open. I like how I can find this shampoo and conditioner by just lookingn for the design of the bottle. It makes it easier to find the product at the store. This is a really good product for the money.

My hair is dry and coarse.  I have tried many different brands including Bumble & Bumble, Enjoy, Pureology, you name it. None of them have produced the results L'Oreal Vive Pro Hydra shampoo & conditioner have.  I'm extremely happy with the results. Soft and shiny hair after styling.  What a fantastic product! Bottom line is... you don't have to buy the most expensive brands to get good results. ****

I have tried many shampoos and Conditioners. I have found that the only one that leaves my hair silky and soft is the L'oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss. I have thick hair so it's hard to find a product that leaves my hair soft. I think it's the Royal Jelly Complex that does the job. I like the smell. I would like it if they would make it in a larger bottle. My daughter uses it as well and because we have so much hair and it's thick we have to use at least twice as much. The bottles don't last us long. We've been using for quiet a while. My daughter likes it a lot, because she strainghtens her hair often, it has helped her hair not be so dry and frizzy. I would definitely reccommend this product. I feel that both our hair has gotten healthier after using this shampoo and conditioner. I felt the difference at the first washing. Just using the shampoo, I could feel my hair was softer and more manageable. It felt even better after rinsing out the conditioner. It really is a great product. Try it!!
