I purchased L'Oreal's Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gel at Walgreens. It was on sale as a "buy one, get one free" purchase. So, I got 2 bottles. This was in late May, 2008 and I had already gotten a little sun just from being out and about everyday, and I tan quickly so when I got the product home, I took a shower & exfoliated with a body wash that had exfoliating beads in it. After I got out the shower, and dried off, I read the instructions and it says to make sure you're totally dry and then to do one part of your body at a time. I did so. I applied the gel on my arms, chest, face and neck and let it dry. After it dried, I noticed that some areas on my arms and legs had streaks. It was hard to tell which areas needed more or less gel as I was applying it. Also, the gel, once dry on your body, has a glitter to it. I liked how it sparkled, but then realized it was a dead giveaway to anyone who looked at me that I had used a self tanner...and that, I did not like. It also left a residue on my white bra that wouldn't even bleach out...and I didn't even put my bra on til 2 hours after I applied the bronzer gel.
Overall, I wouldn't buy this product again but I did like it for the purpose I bought it....to be tan for pictures for my brother's high school graduation day.
