I bought this because I've became a fan of the aerosol sprays when it comes to my sunless tanning. It takes a little extra care to use these because the nozzle clogs up but if I am careful to clean the nozzle after every use, it's typically not a problem.

My major concern with this particular self-tanner is that it was a bit difficult for me to get my color just right and the can didn't last very long. The can only lasted for a few applications to I had to buy two more cans just to be sure I had enough. The product kind of goes on clear so it's hard to see where the mist is hitting. You have to be careful to apply just the right amount of pressure or you end up with too much in some places and too little in others. It was hard to apply just right. It does even itself out after a couple days though because you achieve the full color.

My chief complaint is the uneven spray. The color looks okay but it's a bit unnatural. I typically expect the color to look a bit off which is why I have started only using this product on my legs for a more airbrushed look. I can control the color better on my legs than any other place on my body and I like to have that pantyhose look without actually being uncomfortable in hose. This product also doesn't get on clothes but I wouldn't wear white just to be sure. The spray does go everywhere as expected so I used it in shower and in the backyard on my legs.

Effectiveness
It gets good coverage but was a little uneven at first. It took a few days to even out. I would recommend using over a weekend.

Ease of Application
The spray makes it easier to use but you have to get the pressure on the nozzle just right.

Scent
The scent isn't great but I've used much worse.

Longevity
It lasts a few days after you stop use. The color fades unevenly though so I would exfoliate for a few days to make sure you don't look splotchy when you stop using it.

I have previously and the past purchased and used this Loreal Sublime Bronze Pro Perfect Airbrush Self Tanning Mist and I found that it was ok but not anything spectacular. This product is not one of my favorite self tanners. First of all I purchased this product because I thought that it would be very easy to use and very easy to apply. Well I was certainly mistaken. Because I sprayed it on but I had a very hard time getting even coverage. Also I did have to rub it in which I was hoping I did not. Since I had to rub in with my hands and even after I washed it off it still turned my palms a few shades darker which did not look right. Also since this is a spray on self tanner I found that for me it did not give me an even coverage all over. I can say that I only had to apply it once a day and that it did give me a noticeably darker tan (it just was not even all over) so it was not all bad. Another thing about this product is that it is pretty expensive. It is in the higher price end as far as self tanners go. The last thing I can say positive about this Loreal Sublime Bronze Pro Perfect Airbrush Self Tanning Mist is that the scent was not so bad. It had a nice scent that was not like most other self tanners. It smelled good.

Sublime bronze? More like Sublime Mess.

By

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist:

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist is a messy product that does not really tan as much as it streaks and leaves blotches on my skin. I spent extra money to purchase this product because L'Oreal is a company that I would usually trust. However, the first time I used this product, I was so frustrated. It is a self-tanning spray that is supposed to be light and easy to use. Instead, this product was a total mess to deal with. It was runny and when I finally felt like it was evenly applied, it had dried into a streaky mess. I tried also to wash it off and make it more even, however, it did not do any good. I tried it twice and I had to just give up. I ended up returning the product because it was so terrible. Also, it does not smell very good, in my opinion. This was the most disappointing self tanner that I have ever used.

Ease of Application
The light spray is supposed to be easy to apply, however, it was way more difficult than I thought it would be.

I love all of L'OREAL products they are worth the little extra you pay for them. This product delivers everything it says it will. It leaves you with a natural looking tan. This is the one I most often buy.

Effectiveness
It takes just 1 application to see & if used as directed you can see your self getting darker by every application

Ease of Application
I like that you can hold the can in any direction & it sprays continuously. It dosen't clog uselly but if it dose just run hot water on it & it opens. I find this product can be held over from season to season. If you stop use Oh my God it for a time " a year " it still works great!

Scent
It smells good

Longevity
It really last a long time you can go 3-4 days before it starts to fade. I have gone a week before it really started to fade & that's with showering & swimming too

Gives great results

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist:

I am very pale in the winter and I tan pretty easily in the summer but my skin only seems to tan to a certain degree. I used self tanners and bronzers to either give me some color or deepen my color. One of the self tanners I use is L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist. I like that it is a spray tan in a can but looks very natural. When my skin is already tan it adds a subtle hint of extra color and when it is pasty white it adds a nice base tan. When I want it to look even deeper, I use a darker color spray and it still looks very natural, no orange color, and goes on flawlessly. I have never had any problems with this and have actually been pleased with it. The only con is it is a bit pricey since it only lasts for about two full body spray tans that only last for less than a week.

Effectiveness
Shows great color

Scent
One of the better smelling self tanners

Longevity
Lasts a tops of three to four days (with a shower everyday)

Sublime Bronze

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist:

I really like Loreal Sublime Bronze spray tan! It doesn't have a strong scent and I usually hate the smell of self tanners but this one was great! I could barely smell it! I would recommend having a friend that knows what they're doing to help you spray this on because I tried doing it myself once and it didn't turn out great. But my mom helped me apply it and it looked amazing no streaks or drip marks! It looks really natural and doesn't streak when it starts to fade. Make sure you set aside an hour afterwards to allow the spray to dry completely. I know that's a little on the long side and try not to bend your elbows or knees too much because if it's still wet it will dry weird in the inside of your elbows and knees. I really like this spray tan! It makes me get a really even and dark tan! I would recommend exfoliating before applying any type of tanning product, I have found that it really increases the amount of time that the spray tan stays on!

You'll be a blotchy mess.

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist:

This product deserves NO STARS.

I'm searching for a new self-tanner that actually works. A few years ago I used a great Neutrogena tinted mouse that didn't run or streak. Unfortunately, I can't find that. This L'Oreal self-tanning product is a spray. How many people can spray something evenly on themselves, especially when the mist is invisible? right in saying it doesn't streak: it BLOTCHES. I'd rather have my fish-belly white legs than white legs with big brown spots. Ick! I threw the can away and urge you not to waste your money. Fortunately, I didn't use it before an important event. I hid under slacks till the worst of it had faded.

Effectiveness
Like I said, I threw it away.

Ease of Application
Spraying invites drips and streaks.

Scent
It may have smelled okay, but who cares? That couldn't make up for looking bad.

Longevity
It probably lasted too long, since I wanted to be able to wash off the ugly mess.

Love this tanning mist!

By

from Notre Dame, IN

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist:

I love this tanning mist -- the color is very saturated, and I only need one application to have a deep, bronzed look. The spray nozzle helps ensure that you get all those hard-to-reach places (back of knees, shoulders, etc). It also means that you won't have to worry about tanning lotion staining the palms of your hands, which often happens with lotion tanning formulas.

Before applying this product, though, make sure your skin is hydrated. If it's dry and flaky, you will not achieve the even "airbrushed" look, and it instead can look blotchy and fake.

If I had to say one negative thing about this Loreal self tanning mist, I would say that it has the traditional tanning lotion smell that is not too appealing, so I wouldn't apply it right before going out for the night or anything. But the smell isn't too noticeable after showering.

All in all, this is a great product, and the price is right!

A not so great tanner

By

from Albany, NY

Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist:

I didn't like this product at all. When first using it, the spray went on great and it dried fast. But once I saw the color, certain sections looked blotchy and darker than others. And after ONE shower, which I didn't take until roughly 8 hours after applying, certain areas started to fade. Again, looking blothy and fake. I have tried lots of self tanners and this is the first one that I tried that sprayed on. So I was very excited, but very unhappy in the end.  I am returing the product because it was not worth the money.
