L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser —

Quick View:This cleanser is effective and gentle. I like that it doesn't make my skin tight or dry and that it really does minimize my pores. It's inexpensive and unisex.

About L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser

I don't need a new facial cleanser. In fact, I love my Philosophy cleansers. But, "beauty divas" can't resist a new product. I bought L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser because it was new and on sale. Plus, I did give my sister another cleanser I had been using so I justified my purchase that way.

Anyway, this cleanser comes in an eight ounce pump bottle. It is a clear pink shade but it is by no means a woman's only cleanser. The scent is fresh and subtle and not at all floral, which I can't handle so close to my nose. Ugh. This scent is refreshing.

The cleanser foams up nicely and makes my skin tingle a bit. It rinses off clean and leaves my skin brighter and firmer but not dry or tight. I have old, dry skin and some cleansers can strip my face of oils and make my face feel like it will crack if I smile. This one doesn't do that at all. It leaves my face very soft and fresh. As for minimizing pores, it does!

I generally don't have large pores but now and then, my crazy skin will act up and I will feel like I have huge holes in my face. It could be that I sometimes look at myself in a 10X mirror but still. When I use L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser, my pores are tiny and nearly invisible.

In all, this is a heck of a good cleanser and it is gentle enough for the eye area. You can remove eye makeup with this and not worry about irritation. It really cleans too. I tried the toner trick after using the product and not a trace of dirt was on my cotton ball.

L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser is inexpensive at about $7.99 a bottle. I paid only $5.99 on sale. My whole family uses it and we have skin types varying from dry to teen aged oily and it works well for us all.

My Viewpoint

I haven't abandoned my Philosophy cleansers but I DO like L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser. It does everything it promises and doesn't cause breakouts. It cleanses well, smells fresh, and rinses clean. My skin isn't dry or tight and it looks healthy after I use the cleanser. The price is right too. Guys, don't be turned off by  the pink color. This cleanser is great for you too! I'm going with 4 stars but would like to give it 4.5 if I could. It's close to a 5 star cleanser but I prefer cleansers that hydrate a bit more. Still, highly recommended!

I tried this line when my cousin recomended it to me, I have alot of facial skin problems, and these products help me tremendously, my facial skin is not dry and peeling all the time now, and this cleanser does not burn or sting my sensitive facial skin, I love this product, and the facial lotions and serums work great too.

It helps for the short term. My pores definitely look tiny after I use this but I don't have major pore issues. It's dryness that is my skin issue.

I have yet to find anything to really shrink pores. I just may try this one.

LOL. But the good thing is, if you have oily skin, you won't wrinkle anywhere near as fast as those with dry skin. I happen to have dry skin and manholes so I have the worst of both worlds.lol.

I'll have to try this. The pores on my cheeks are worse than manholes, they're like the craters on the moon! Thanks for the tip.

LOL at your review title! I've got oily skin so those manhole cover days happen more frequently than normal. Even when I'm happy with a cleanser, it seems I always end up trying another. Not sure why. :)

My sisters have it great because I'm a shopaholic and pass all my stuff to them. They just wait and eventually they get makeup and everything else. I pay, they play. Sheesh. :)

I still want my Alpha Hydrox back, ya thief! This is quite good. I was surprised because I usually don't like L'Oreal products. You ain't getting it!
