I do not like to write negative reviews; therefore, I usually just don't review products that I do not like. However, this product was so bad, that I felt the need to warn others so that do not waste their money. I was given this to me by a friend who purchased it and didn't like it at all. She gave it to me to give a try and see what I thought. Firstly, this product states on the Loreal website that it will "instantly erase the look of lines, wrinkles, and pores. Skin instantly looks and feels smooth, leaving a velvet soft matte finish that lasts all day," which is a direct quote. Honestly, the product did nothing, not a single thing. I put it on half my face and asked my family to tell me which side had it on. They could not see any difference, they actually thought I was joking with them about having put it on, because there was no visible difference. Secondly, it is thick and I would compare it to Crisco. It looked like it and felt like it. It sat atop my face and would not absorb, and I have very dry skin. I applied my foundation, which slid around on top of it. I ended up with a big blotchy mess. I could run my finger down my skin and leave a streak. It simply would not absorb, and putting foundation on top of it was like mixing oil and vinegar. I can't imagine what that is like on someone with oily skin! I had to wash my entire face, and reapply my make-up. Thirdly, it was very irritating to both my skin and my friend's skin, and removing it was not easy. I had to wash my face three times before I finally got it all off (picture washing Crisco off a plate). Finally, it is not inexpensive. So, if you are looking for a "miracle", you may want to try a free sample first. It isn't something I would suggest buying just to try out, not at 24.99 a bottle.

Smoothes, protects and makes my skin look healthy

I am using the Oil-Free type. I am 45, and I have started a new regimen using L'Oreal products. This particular product is a keeper. I have not had a breakout with it (I usually get a few pimples when I change products). It does not cover up my problem areas, but it makes my cheeks, which are chubby and unblemished, seem to have a healthy glow. It's not a true glow, but my cheeks look healthier. I use it under foundation, and I am prepared to buy a second bottle of this stuff. It also smoothes my face, and I have some dry areas on my face. It makes my skin feel smooth. The product has a texture to it; you'll notice it as you apply it. It is clear, but a little thick, and I only use a "pea-sized" (a large pea, not a petite pea) amount each morning. I will definitely buy a second bottle of this. Some people may not like the texture of this product, but that particular texture is why it smooths the dry patches of my skin and SEEMS to seal and protect my skin (especially the dry parts of my skin when I'm outside in the cold). I hope this review helps you.

Great product

I am 47 years old, with fine lines and wrinkles. I first read the reviews on here before buying L'Oreal Miracle Blur so I wasn't sure what to expect. Before using it I exfoliated my face, then applied my day cream. I opened my tube of Miracle Blur and at first didn't think anything was going to come out, not matter how much I squeezed the tube. As others mentioned, the product is very thick! Once I got it out of the tube I only used a tiny pea sized dab and put it on my face, paying close attention to my lines. It is very greasy, but I expected that when I bought it. I waited a few minutes after applying this before applying my make up. I was pleasantly surprised after my first application! My lines were much less visible than they were before. My face was much smoother and I really did look younger. I think this is going to be a great product for me, but I would recommend using it very sparingly since it is very thick and greasy.

Great for erasing fine lines.

I bought a bottle after trying some in a sample pack. It was amazing! I tried some on my hand and it instantly erased the wrinkles, just where I put it, and I rubbed it in some more and it blurred out the skin more! It was like I used the Photoshop blur tool! And it fills in the small wrinkles, so your makeup doesn't get in them and stain. Alot of people said that the miracle blur feels very waxy on their face, and the consistency of the cream does feel a little bit waxy, but is still a cream. To make it feel not so waxy, you just have to rub it in more, it covers a lot. I really liked this cream, it is amazing! I would recommend this to all my family and friends, especially my friends who also bought some for themselves and love it! My sister also bought some but hasn't tried it yet, but I'm sure that she is going to love it! I would recommend this for people who have small wrinkles or lines. This product really is a miracle, I don't know how they made this instant skin smoother, It is great and blows my mind, I hope you get this product, it is absolutely amazing! Good luck!

Wasn't what I expected.

I for some reason was expecting this to smooth out my skin and kind of help give it a more airbrushed look when I put my foundation on. But it didn't really minimize my pores or any imperfections. My skin just soaked it up. It didn't prep my face too much.

Ok for a quick fix, but not for the long haul

I received this product through a sample and share. I'm very glad I didn't actually pay for it. While it does go on fairly easy and work instantly to "erase" fine lines, the consistency is terrible. As another reviewer stated, it has a waxy feel and leaves a heavy layer of product over my face. After applying, I have to wash my hands a few times to get rid of the gunk that's stuck there and it's quite waterproof. What I do like about this product is that it has an excellent matte finish, which is great for my oily skin. It gives my overall complexion a very smooth look, but it's basically because you're putting on a mask of product. It also doesn't go well with any type of makeup as my products almost seemed to be at war with each other. I'd say this product is great for an evening out when you're going to see a lot of people and want to impress them with your young smooth skin. I wouldn't recommend for daily use though, since it's heavy and doesn't offer any long term improvements. I've received compliments during girl's nights out and at my husband's work party, but I don't think I could stand to put this on my face on a daily basis.

Didn't meet my expectations.

This product was okay. It did make my skin look a little less horrible and more awake. But it didn't exactly eliminate what it advertised it did. My pores were still just as visible as before. However, my light acne scars were nearly gone as well as got less noticeable in the course of 3 weeks. Let me start out by saying I have pretty oily skin and didn't use this under or over and foundation. I used this 5 times a week for 4 weeks and once every morning. When you first apply it, it feels heavy but with time it feels lighter and it did eliminate any oily feeling on my face for a few hours (after a few hours it returned to it's normal oily state, so Miracle Blur didn't by any means make my skin appear more oily). It spreads very easily and you do not need a lot to cover your whole face. Although it didn't make any difference on the visibility of my pores, it did even out any uneven tones on my face which made my face look very fresh and awake.

Love it!

This product is priced pretty high for being sold in the drugstore, but I think it's worth it. A little goes a long way! I find that when I wear this under my makeup my foundation applies more smoothly, and lasts longer. It does make fine lines and large pores less apparent.

Looks great with or without makeup!

For less than 20 bucks it really is a little miracle. I tried a sample and fell in love. I get the oil-free version because my skin is sensitive and acne-prone. It really does "blur" fine lines and imperfections like dark spots and acne marks. I love how soft it makes my skin feel too! I usually just wear it alone with a little concealer, mascara, & blush.

Didn't live up to my expectations

I had high hopes that L'Oreal's Miracle Blur would hide my little lines, but it just didn't. It also left my skin greasy making make up applied over it look bad. Usually I would go for something that would actually diminish the lines, but Miracle Blur seemed like quick fix that I could use while waiting for other products to make a more long term difference, but even when I tried it without other products, it was too greasy to be any good. I saw an ad in a magazine that sounded great and it seemed believable so I paid (a lot) to try it. It definitely was not worth the expense. It's extremely thick and hard to squeeze out of the tube, which would seem like it would fill in those lines easily, but even the tiniest amount would turn greasy when I put it on my skin, and I could still see the lines. The greasiness made my make up look bad which drew more attention to the parts of my face I had hoped to cover up. I usually like the L'Oreal anti aging products, but this one left me disappointed.
