I've been using this brand for about a year now. I really love it and I think it might be my favorite hair color! I have used it on my dark-dyed winter-dry hair, my sun-lightened fragile summer hair, and everything in between.
Natural Match is great for what it's advertised for: matching your natural color. I've gone from summer sun-bleached streaky with brown roots to a very nice all-over brown with subtle highlights, with one application of this coloring.
It also worked great when I dyed my hair darkest brown over the winter and then got tired of it. I applied natural match in an almost blonde shade and it gently lightened my hair to a medium brown. a few weeks later, i did it again, with a dark blonde shade, and my hair became this gorgeous light brown. i wish i had taken photos to share, because i can't describe the colors i achieved.
over the summer, i left my hair alone and the sun made it all streaky and multi-toned. it was just so pretty, and the bottom 2/3 of my hair had been dyed darkest brown a few months before, but you couldn't tell! it was all even top to bottom.
I really can't express how much i like this hair color. every shade is like an experiment waiting to happen for me! and when it goes on sale (here in S. California) it goes from 11 bucks to 7 or 8. that's cheap to me! There are so many shades, too! I think there are 28 or so. They use more natural ingredients, so there's none of that choking fumage you get with the cheaper haircolors. (there's no ammonia!)

Overall, I think this is the best haircolor I've found for under $20!!

I fully agree with you and told the company the same thing.
