**I remember seeing the L'Oreal HIP High Intensity Pigments Pure Pigment Shadow Stick in 338 Mesmerizing at a drugstore and they were a bit expensive. So imagine my surprise when I came accross them at an outlet store. Well I took advantage of the situation, and purchased a couple of these in different colors. The one I am reviewing is the black color stick in mesmerizing. The idea of a black marker or crayon like product for of eye shadow is appealing, but the actual product leaves alot to be desired. First applying the product is harsh on my eyelid. It literally pulls at my eyelids as I am appying it and with very little color payoff. I did hear if you wet the tip a bit, it makes application smoother and the color more stronger, i guess kinda like any other eyeshadow, it intensifies the color. This seemed to do the trick. BUt another peeve of mine with this product is it has a clear plastic cover around the shadow stick, and it makes it hard to get product out, do you sharpen it? i dunno. **
