I used this brand because I have always been satisfied with all other Loreal products. I was going from blonde to brown. I used #40, which is Espresso (shown in picture). At first, it was very dark, almost a black. After several days it started to lighten up though, to a very pretty chocolate… read full review »

Alright, L'oreal's Feria is easy enough to use. The price was right, after store discounts and a coupon. It smells nice. Those things, I'll give it. — The color, though? Looked good for about two seconds before oxidizing to a cheap orangey brassy shade. Bear in mind that my hair is very dark,… read full review »

I have been using Feria by L'Oreal for years now. I alternate between salon visits to try and save money since I have to dye my hair every 2-3 weeks to be sure the white doesnt show!!! My hairstylist uses Goldwell products from Germany when she dyes my hair and they are very expensive but feel very damaging to the hair compared to the way my hair feels after using Feria. The Feria always looks silky and beautiful after I have used it. I get more compliments when I use Feria vs. going to the salon. The downside to the product is: Over time it no longer covers white roots and the roots… read full review »

This color was easy to use and covers grey very well most other colors will cover grey for about 3 or 4 shampoos and than you get the grey back this product stays true to color for longer than usual . its smells great and does not fade to quickly .the only thing that was not good was the color transfering to the towel after the first few washes this goes away after a while .still a good product… read full review »

I love Feria.  I am disabled, and strong odors from hair products tend to make me dizzy.  Feria is not as strong smelling when you are applying it as other coloring agents are.  It covers my gray totally.  This one I can do myself, without help from another person.  It also makes my hair look like I highlighted it.  It also gives great conditioning to your hair, and the shine is amazing. — Try Feria.  You won't be disappointed. —… read full review »

I loved it. It left my hair smelling good, shimmery, and with just a great color. It works with the majority of skin tones too. Awesome. I've been dying my hair since I was 12.... Now I'm almost 20, and I've used so many different brands and color. I think I would rate this above all the rest in this color category. Everybody loved it. It just made my hair look really… read full review »

I recently splurged and spent a pile of money at a salon for a special event thinking that it would be superior to my own at home coloring efforts, and I was shocked to discover that the only difference was the price....the color wasn't any truer, and didn't last any longer, and wasn't any less harsh on my hair than using the Loreal feria products.  Plus a coupon makes it an even better deal, and from time to time, I have seen this product on a buy one/get one free deal at places like Wal-mart.   It is easy to use, reasonably priced, and doesn't overly damage hair.  There… read full review »

I've been coloring my hair since I was 16- first using blonde to enhance my natural blonde, then red. I've tried several brands of color and had disastrous results on most occasions except with L'Oreal hair colors. I've heard your hair "gets used to " one particular brand if you use it a lot- I don't know if that is true but I will only use L'Oreal because it works consistently. I've probably used every shade of blonde and red Feria AND Soft Black and I love every one of them. — The color lasts, is deep, has depth and range in tones and it doesn't smell awful like most hair color. It's… read full review »

While this product is a bit pricier than other at-home hair color products, the conditioner that comes with each package alone is worth the price.  The color is always deep and true to the box.  The scent isn't as awful as some of its competitors, and the three step process is easy to follow.  I am soo in love with the conditioner that comes with the hair color!!  It leaves your hair soft and shiny and keeps the color richer longer.  I like to use less of the conditioner during the first few shampoos and save it for when the color is starting to fade, and I'm about a… read full review »

I'm constantly changing my hair, sometimes every three months or so.  I like the fact that I can use this product as often as I do and still have hair.  I like the fact that even with hard to color ethnic hair, the color on the box is the color I get.  Every once in a while it may be a bit lighter or darker, but not much.  I also like the fact that the color is not just flat matte color.  My hair always looks shiny and healthy after I color it.  I love that the color doesn't fade when in a few weeks because I don't have time to follow a touch up… read full review »

I have been coloring my hair for the last 1 1/2 years...covering the start of grey. I tried other products at first and either the smell was horrible or it made my dry hair even drier. I really like that this makes my hair multi-faceted with colors. Since my natural hair has many shades it only helps to enhance that. The conditioner in the package smells great and works wonderfully. It costs more than most other brands but is definitly worth… read full review »

I dye my hair black (shh... don't tell anyone!), and I always want a cool deep color. A lot of black dyes are warm based and clash with my skin tone. Black dye can also turn out flat and dull. I use Feria's "bright black" because it's blue based and really really shiny. It picks up on light and almost sparkles. And I can't get enough of the conditioner that comes with it! —… read full review »

I've been coloring my hair for almost 20 years now at home. This is by far one of the best home do-it-yourself haircolor products on the market. They have a wide range of colors to choose from. Your hair doesn't dry out from using it and I love the shine and fullness it gives my hair. I would definitely recommend this product to… read full review »
