Most HelpfulAlright, L'oreal's Feria is easy enough to use. The price was right, after store discounts and a coupon. It smells nice. Those things, I'll give it.
The color, though? Looked good for about two seconds before oxidizing to a cheap orangey brassy shade. Bear in mind that my hair is very dark, so this was...
review »I have very resistant gray hair and often had problems with at home color, until I tried Feria....It is a little more expensive that most but well worth it. My gray hair never bleed through, the only time I need to color again is for re-growth.
I have been using L'oreal Feria in #41 Crushed Garnet for a little over a year now. Initially, after dying my hair I absolutely loved the color and thought it was pretty true to the picture on the box. I recieved many compliments. However, after a week or two I began to notice that my once dark mahogany hair was turning into a lighter, brassier red. I continued to recieve many compliments on my hair color, but a lot of my friends would randomly ask me if I dyed my hair again in a different color.
All in all, I would say that L'oreal Feria is probably one of the best at-home hair dyes I...
review »I love Feria. I am disabled, and strong odors from hair products tend to make me dizzy. Feria is not as strong smelling when you are applying it as other coloring agents are. It covers my gray totally. This one I can do myself, without help from another person. It also makes my hair look like I highlighted it. It also gives great conditioning to your hair, and the shine is amazing.
Try Feria. You won't be disappointed.
I dye my hair black (shh... don't tell anyone!), and I always want a cool deep color. A lot of black dyes are warm based and clash with my skin tone. Black dye can also turn out flat and dull. I use Feria's "bright black" because it's blue based and really really shiny. It picks up on light and almost sparkles. And I can't get enough of the conditioner that comes with it!
I tried Loreal Feria thinking it would get rid of my grey hair, and not only that but come out a DECENT color.I did EVERYTHING the box toled me to do and still....My hair is naturally light brown, I tried a darker brown and it turned lighter then my original hair! If you dont want a surprise color, i would suggest not using Loreal Feria. They should call it Loreal Surprise, because you dont know what your going it get!.....My friend uses Satin hair color and she suggested I use that, I tried it and wow! my hair has never looked better! The color is perfect for me, also got rid of my greys. I had...
review »I have brown hair but i dye it black. For me the black is perfect. But be warned: it looks blueish black. I love it but if you want a natural looking black then this is not for you. And it is really hard to wash out if you do not like it!!
After a really horrible highlighting experience at a salon which gave me platinum blonde streaks in my dark brown hair, I was loathe to try and get it fixed by another professional...especially at the $50+ price tag. I waited a couple of months, living with the color rather than rush into another chemical job, and settled on Feria hair coloring purchased at a local megamart store. A friend of mine had colored her hair with this product back when it first came out, and I remembered thinking how nice and shimmery the results were. My biggest fear in at-home coloring is ending up with a dull,...
