Great shimmery color

like easy to use things, very happy with this product, married, not rich, Too young to have gray hair, an at home hair colorer, a user of lots of hair care products, willing to pay for quality

Pros

Very shimmery, fantastic and bold color, doesn't smell as bad as most color, amazing conditioner-my husband loves it!

Cons

a little darker than color on the box, then fades to lighter color

I used this brand because I have always been satisfied with all other Loreal products. I was going from blonde to brown. I used #40, which is Espresso (shown in picture). At first, it was very dark, almost a black. After several days it started to lighten up though, to a very pretty chocolate color. It still fades a little, and I have had to do it twice, but that it because I was making such a drastic change. It definitely has some shimmery highlights in it so it is not dull. They're very pretty, and helps your hair look shinier. The conditioner is AWESOME. It has to be my favorite. It comes in a really big tube compared to other haircolor products. It has lasted me for a really long time, and I have long hair, almost past the middle of my back. It smells amazing all day long. I can go through the entire day and then see my husband. He's not one to normally notice things like that, but he smells it and comments on how much he loves it. Not to mention it keeps my hair super soft. I have heard they sell it separately at Sally Beauty Supply, but I haven't checked that out yet. If they do, I am definitely going to buy some. Overall, this product is well worth the money. I would highly recommend it.

Thanks for the review. My hair is so picky. The color sounds great but probably wouldn't come out that great in my hair. I should definetely try the conditioner though.

They DO sell the conditioner at Sally. I've bought it there before. In fact, I think they sell the color bottles separately there too. I used to buy all my hair color there in the color bottles and then mix it with developer and it saved me tons of money. Nice review! Welcome to the site. :)
