I've been coloring my hair since I was 16- first using blonde to enhance my natural blonde, then red. I've tried several brands of color and had disastrous results on most occasions except with L'Oreal hair colors. I've heard your hair "gets used to " one particular brand if you use it a lot- I don't know if that is true but I will only use L'Oreal because it works consistently. I've probably used every shade of blonde and red Feria AND Soft Black and I love every one of them.
The color lasts, is deep, has depth and range in tones and it doesn't smell awful like most hair color. It's pretty hard to keep red from fading on naturally blonde hair but the Feria seems to last a little longer than the L'Oreal Preference. I switch back & forth between the two depending on what shade I am going for.
Highly recommend.
