I have been coloring my hair at home for about two years now.  I have had the best success with the L'Oreal brand, so I tend to stick to their hair coloring kits.  Last night I used L'Oreal Excellence Creme Blonde Supreme and had the best experience with coloring my hair at home so far.

My hair is naturally a light brown/ugly, dirty dishwater color, so I tend to dye my hair light blonde because it matches my fair complexion better.  This time I bought the color "01 - Extra Light Ash Blonde" and it turned out fabulous!

L'Oreal Excellence Creme Blonde Supremeis a great product if you've recently gone blonde and want to keep it.  I was blonde for over 10 years and used L'Oreal Excellence Creme Blonde Suprememore than half of the time.  It kept my Platinum locks looking and feeling vibrant and healthy (very difficult when you are not naturally a blonde) and was very natural looking.  I even had blonde friends that wanted to know what my secret was, why my blonde looked better then theirs.  It can be a bit pricey depending on where you buy it but if you can find it on sale it's worth a shot.  The smell wasn't...

L'OREAL Paris Excellence Creme is the only hair dye I have found with triple protection.  I have very short hair. The pre-color protective treatment allows me to dye new growth without darkening previously dyed hair. 

I could never get and keep the right color when I went to the beauty college.  (I'm frugal.)  This product fits well in my budget.
