Wonderful product!

5

I absolutely loved this product, L'Oreal's EverStrong Hydrate Shampoo (and Conditioner). It was the best my hair had ever felt! I bought the product at a Walmart, where I usually purchase the biggest, cheapest bottles of Suave Professionals or the Herbal Essences line. It came in smaller bottles than I like and was much more expensive compared to my usual products, but the results were fabulous. These are hair products that are sulfate free and moisturized my hair wonderfully. My only complaints are that the price seems high for the amount of product you receive and that the store was all sold out when I went to buy more. I only wash my hair once or twice a week, so I could justify to myself spending the extra money. If you wash your hair more than that, this product could get pretty expensive, especially as a daily wash. I would certainly recommend this product as a treat for your hair, though, used sparingly as to save as much product as possible!

A Great sulfate Free Shampoo

5

This shampoo is wonderful. I am very partial to sulfate free shampoos and this one delivers great results. It has a thick but not too thick consistency, and does very well as far as cleaning your hair and it is very easy to rise out. The ingredient list is very long and includes many herb and plant extracts. The only reason why I don't use this shampoo exclusively is because I like to switch up with the many shampoos I have. But this one is definitely in, and will remain in the rotation. Effectiveness The effectiveness is very good. I use this shampoo with it's accompanying Ever Strong Hydrate Conditioner and I achieve great results from doing that. Although I'm confident that if I wanted to use a different brand of conditioner after this shampoo the results from using this shampoo first would still still be good results. Scent I love the scent of this shampoo. It is lightly floral but with an undertone of smelling herbal. The scent is very prominent but not over powering in a cloying way.

It cleaned my hair well, but it smells horrible!

I received a trio of samples of the new L'Oreal EverStrong line of products.  The trio included: Hydrate Shampoo, Hydrate Conditioner and an Overnight Repair Treatment.  Although the products worked great on my hair, I would never buy them! In addition to a horrible scent, **L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Shampoo** contains parabens, which I stay away from completely.  Since this product did clean my hair nicely, I can't give it one star, so I will give it 2 because of the horrible, nasty scent and the parabens. [1]: http://www.viewpoints.com/LOreal-EverStrong-Hydrate-Conditioner-review-f31f5 Effectiveness On a positive note, this shampoo did clean my hair well. It lathers like no other shampoo I've ever used. I felt like I had a helmet of foam and bubbles on my head. I didn't mind though, it was semi-entertaining. When I got out of the shower, my hair stank like the horrible scents in the shampoo and conditioner, but it was clean, conditioned and healthy looking. Scent L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Shampoo has one of the worst scents that I have ever smelled in a hair care product. They call the scent Rosemary Juniper, but I call it, headache. It is extremely strong and overwhelming. The scent isn't as manly as the [Hydrate Conditioner][1] , which as a Rosemary Mint scent, but the shampoo's scent is worse. I'll take manly over bad any day.

Sulfate free left my hair greasy.

I trust the Loreal brand, and after seeing the commercials I thought I would try out the Sulfate-Free Shampoo. I have fine hair, which tends to be on the greasy side as well. I am not one of those people that can get away with not washing their hair every day. From the first moment I used it I didn't like it. It didn't give me a rich lather, which is something I like. It made me feel like my hair wasn't getting clean. The smell was powerful and not that great. It was very herby, almost pungent. But I could have gotten over those things if it had made my hair look good. It didn't. It left my hair feeling greasy quicker and kind of limp. By the end of the day it looked like I needed to wash my hair again, something I have never encountered from even the cheapest of shampoos. All in all, I ended up throwing away the rest of it because it just wasn't working for me! Maybe on someone with really dry hair or hair that isn't prone to grease? But not for me!

My hair finally feels amazing!

I just tried a sample I received of Loreal Ever Strong shampoo and conditioner and I am completely sold. First, my hair is thick, naturally curly, and kind of damaged because I use heat on it every day and haven't gotten a haircut in half a year. I normally blow day my hair and use a straightening iron, but when I'm done my hair feels tangled and dry. (I currently use either Garnier or Pantene)  My take on Loreal Ever Strong: At first I thought the Rosemary Juniper and Rosemary Mint scents were a little strange. But when I used the shampoo, I immediately fell in love. They use the term "rich lather," but I would say that's an understatement. It was the best lather I've ever felt from a shampoo and I've tried MANY shampoos (I was a cosmetologist previously) Also, the shampoo rinsed very clean and even in the shower, before applying conditioner, my hair felt more moisturized. The conditioner was very thick, almost a cream. I normally have to overuse conditioner to get good coverage and some sense of moisture. But even with the small amount included in the sample pack, the conditioner covered all of my hair great and felt super silky. When I rinsed the conditioner I could tell my hair just felt stronger and healthier.  After drying my hair, using my straightening iron was great. My hair held its style better and I didn't have to keep going over the same strand to get it straight. When I finished styling my hair, I was shocked. It was completely smooth and silky. I normally have fly-aways that I have to hairspray down, but all of my short fly-away hairs actually laid down! I am able to run my fingers through my hair! No tangles at all! (For someone with unmanageable frizzy curly hair, this was a first) My hair feels healthier, like I just got it cut. Also, the minty smell subsides after it dries and it just smells clean now, a very faint scent. I already looked into the prices and while it's a little higher than what I normally buy, I'm convinced that this product does it's job. Since I can use smaller amounts, also, the monetary difference shouldn't be material. I suggest anyone with unmanageable, dry, brittle, or generally unexciting hair should give this a try!

Loreal EverStrong Sulfate-Free Bodify Shampoo is Free of What?

1

I got this shampoo after I got some coupons from the sunday newspaper and found a sale with some extrabucks! Got a great deal moneywize, so I thought I'd jump on it. I am conscious of the danger of the chemicals found in our shampoos, conditioners, lotions, bodywashes, makeup, nail polishes...etc., so I try to find products that are safer for me and my family.I noticed afterwards a couplr of the ingredients begin with "sulf", so I wonder how free it truly is! While I have not totally cleared out my life from chemicals, I have switched most of my cleaning products and nail polishes to a more chemical free variety. I do not have any complaints on what this shampoo does to my hair, I just have to wonder about the companies tactics to getting people to try their products. While it does not claim to be chemical free, it can be misleading. Thanks for the bargain, but I an not sure of how true the label is.

Great shampoo for the price

Like others here I received a few coupons for this product and was able to find it on sale.  So with the coupons I figured it would be a great time to try it.  Overall it is a pretty good product.  I like the fact that it is sulfate free.  I have think color treated hair.  So the fact that there is a realitively cheap sulfate free shampoo is great.  It does a good job cleaning my hair.  I typically need to wash my hair every day and with this shampoo I find that I can actually shampoo every other day.  It also leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth.  Which I love.  The smell takes some getting use to.  It does not smell like most shampoos.  But I have come to like the smell.  Although the tube seems kind of small, it has lasted longer thatn I would have thought.  Overall, this is a good sulfate free shampoo for the price.  However, it is not my favorite shampoo.  I think there are better sulfate free shampoos out there, but they do cost more than this.  So depending on the price one may want to spend there are better products.

Doesn't strip my hair of color

5

I have colored my hair for years, alternating between many shades of red. I find that the color often fades too fast, so I went about experimenting with different types of shampoos. I had used an all natural shampoo for a few years, semi-happy with it, and I was excited when L'Oreal came out with a sulfate free line. I wasn't sure I wanted to try it at first, because I wasn't too happy with the smell of it in the store. However I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was how good it smelled when I was in the shower! It must have something to do with the hot steam, because it smelled wonderful while I was washing my hair. I got great lather with the shampoo, which is unusual for a sulfate free line, and it rinsed out well. My only complaint was that the shampoo was hard to get out of the bottle. The conditioner is great, and it left my hair feeling very soft. What I liked the best about this line is the fact that my hair does not frizz up as it dries like it did with other shampoos, and it didn't make my haircolor fade. I have reccomended it to many people.

One of the best shampoo + conditioners I've ever used.

I'm sure we have all seen the commercials featuring the lovely Evangeline Lilly for Everstrong shampoo and conditioner. Everstrong is a system of shampoo, conditoner, deep conditioner, and balm that is sulfate free and promises to make your hair stronger after just one use. It delivers. I've tried both the Everstrong Reconstruct and Everstrong Hydrate. Both make my hair much smoother and I have less frizz. Having no sulfates means that there are no harsh chemicals that can further damage my hair and the products are 100% vegan. My only complaint- personally I like conditioners that make your hair feel smooth in the shower but everstrong doesn't do this. My hair is long and I have to use far more on my hair than I would like- resulting in having to buy another bottle before my shampoo is even out. Everstrong does make my hair feel much smoother and stronger so I'd say it's definitley worth the price.

There is a HUGE difference in the smoothness and texture!

This is BY FAR my FAVORITE shampoo and COnditioner and Leave-In Conditioner of all time. I, Like most people who tried this product, Got a few coupons. THANK GOD because I wouldn't have bought it and that would have been a shame! When I tried the EverStrong, which included all three products, I was SHOCKED at the LASTING results! My hair is thin, long and color treated so it isn't in the besst of health. I am used to using conditioner and STILL having knots after a shower. After using this combination, I had super smooth soft great smelling hair. It isn't too perfumey and you don't need alot which is even better! I then applied the Overnight cream and fell in love. I am truely addicted to this product and I WISH it wasn't so costly, which is a con but not so much so that I would knock off any stars. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a great combination for hair. Truley a great product for anyone looking to change the feeling of their hair.
