I **LOVE** L'Oreal's EverStrong Hydrate hair care line, especially the conditioner! Not only does it come in a flashy, green tube, which just looks awesome, the product itself works wonders!

I use the EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner as part of the suggested daily use along with the Hydrate Shampoo. Using the two of these products together **has transformed my hair 100%** My hair never feels weighed down and the product smells great! I have horrible allergies and fragrance from this conditioner is so light, it never gives me any problems!

Before, my hair was heavily processed and having read about the benefits of using a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, I set out on my search to find the perfect one. I tried half a dozen brands without favor, as they were either not moisturizing enough, or acted on my sinuses. I was feeling sceptical about trying L'Oreals EverStrong Hydrate line, but when I did, I became a faithful user. I have now been using the product, especially the Conditioner, for over 6 months and my hair went from frizzy and dull, to healthy and vibrant!

I would recommend this product to anybody who desires, healthier, softer, shinier hair!

As I mentioned in my shampoo review, I received a trio of samples of the new L'Oreal EverStrong line of products.  The trio included: [Hydrate Shampoo][1] , Hydrate Conditioner and an Overnight Repair Treatment.  I haven't tried the Overnight Treatment yet, but based on my experience with the shampoo and conditioner, I'm not sure I even want to.

**L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner** is designed to strengthen and nourish your hair.  I imagine it would be good for dry/damaged hair.

This product contains parabens and mineral oil, two ingredients that I avoid, but it's a combination of the ingredients and the horrible, horrible scent that is why I would never buy it.  It smells really strong and manly, like cologne.  If you don't like strong, cologne-like scents, I would stay far away from **L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner.  **It did its job nicely, but I would still never buy it.

Effectiveness
Unlike other reviewers, I did not experience tangling or a greasy feeling in my hair. I have "normal" hair, and perhaps the people that experienced the greasy feeling have oily hair to start with, so a hydrating shampoo isn't going to do them any wonders. This conditioner conditioned my hair nicely and made it easy to comb out afterwards.

Scent
It has a Rosemary Mint scent that I just can't stand. Although the scent is quite bad, it's not nearly as bad as the Rosemary Juniper scent that the shampoo has.

L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate hair products smell horrible!

By

from Eagle Lake, MN

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

I got a free sample of L'Oreal EverStrong a few months ago.  I was excited to try it.  I have not had color treated hair for awhile, but have noticed that my natural color shines through even better with color-treatment hair care products.  As soon as I opened the package, I could smell a horribly chemical smell.  This conditioner may not contain sulfates or strip hair, but it certainly smells like it has some complicated chemical mess in it that I don't know if it is healthy for my hair.  I will not be purchasing this product, so I was glad that I had gotten a sample for free.  The chemical smell stuck around for a good part of the day as well.  It was very strong.

If it weren't for the smell, I like the idea behind the product, that it is supposed to be healthier for color-treated hair.  The price seems okay, although it's not as inexpensive as some of the other color-treatment brands.  The smell is too much of a turnoff for me though.

Color Preservation like no other!

By

from North Port, FL

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

My daughter visited over the holidays and refused to use any other conditioner. I now know why! Off to store we went for her request. I had other conditioners on hand that were labeled "for color treated hair". Apparently, in looking at the ingredient labels, they were inferior in quality to Everstrong. My daughter's hair dresser advised her that her color and highlights would last much longer using this product. The key to the Everstrong Hydrating Conditioner is the fact that it is Sulfate-Free. I have exclusively used this product since then. With a recent hair color for the holidays, my color would usually have lost it's luster by now, mid February. Instead, my hair is still as shiny as my first week back from the salon!! The color has not faded at all. I am amazed that i will be extending the time between salon visits for color treatment! Everstrong Hydrating conditioner has left my hair stronger, and I am without the dry ends usually left from styling and heating tools. I love the fragrance and am now addicted to both the smell and the daily use of the product.

L'oreal Ever-Strong Hydrate Conditioner works well

By

from Shelby, NC

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

L'Oreal Ever Strong Hydrate Conditioner works well. But I must warn you starting off that with some people's ahir, and I don't know why, but it does leave a somewhat oily looking hair even though it does feel clean. That is what happened to one of my friends when she used it. But other than that, I recommend it as a conditioner that you should try. It works great on my hair. It does what a conditioner should do and then some. It is really good with dry hair. It reall does hydrate and make the hair look vibrate and alive. It conditions well, and it rinses easily out fo the hair. It goes on smooth and delicately, and one only uses a tiny bit. So the bottle lasts you for a long time even if you use this conditioner everyday. There is no testing on animals with this shampoo, so that is a plus. I do have a difficult time finding this conditioner as well. It simply isn't in my area, or else I haven't found it. I always bring back several bottles when I travel for business.

No sulfates so it doesn't strip your color

By

from Trenton, NJ

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

My hair stylist once told me that shampoos with sulfates will strip the color from color treated hair much quicker than time.  At the time, there were only a few brands of sulfate free shampoos available and they were only sold in salons and cost a fortune!  L'Oreal Came out with their EverStrong line and it is perfect!  It's pricey if you compare it to other shampoos available in the drugstore but compared to salon products, it is a MUCH better value.  It keeps my hair strong and makes the color last so much longer.  This saves me money because I don't have to get my highlights retouched quite as often.

Lots of people say the smell is bad but I actually love it.  I guess it's a matter of preference.  I find the smell very invigorating when I wake up in the morning. I am not a morning person so I do need a little extra invigoration to get me going.  Used with the EverStrong conditioner, my hair stays in great shape, strong, hydrated, volumized, and SO SOFT.

L'oreal Everstrong Hydrate Conditioner is the best I have found

By

from Hamburg, NY

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

I am suprised to see so many people that dislike L'oreal Everstong Hydrate Conditioner. I have found it makes my hair very manageable. Maybe it is the type of hair I have. I have very curly dry hair and it really adds mosture to my hair without frizz. I have actually had many complements about my hair since I have been using it. I really don't have to use a lot in order for it to work..unlike some other conditioners that I feel like I need to use a lot of product because my hair just sucks it up. I actually like the sent. I love the combination of rosemary and mint. I hope I am not grossing anyone else out with the smell of my hair since several people here say they don't like the smell! I actually find it much better then the flowery smell of most shampoo/condtioners. I have found two cons about the Conditioner it cost more then most conditioners. When i find it on sale I stock up and like I mentioned before I don't need to use as much as I do other brands. Also on several occations the packaging has split open at the seems making a mess of my tub.

Loreal created a great conditioner!

By

from Manchester, TN

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

I just purchased this about a week ago, but already I'm in love with this conditioner. I like the packaging. The conditioner always squirts out neatly without you having to flip a bottle over and squeeze and squeeze. I also love the scent. It smells very organic. The scent isn't too strong and I always feel like I have just stepped out of the salon when I finish using it. I recommend starting about halfway down your hair and smoothing this in. Then wait a few minutes. This is when I shave my legs or use bodywash and then rinse it out. Your hair will look amazing without feeling greasy or weighed down. I have very fine hair so I was a little worried that after a few hours mine would feel like it needed to be washed again but actually the very opposite happened. I would recommend this product to many of my friends because it is like salon quality without the salon price. You can find it at almost any drugstore!

L'Oreal EverStrong Sulfate-Free conditioner is great!

By

from University Place, WA

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

This shampoo and conditioner are great!  I've been trying all of my life to achieve that beautiful sheen to my hair.  And as a busy mom I didn't want to have to spend a lot of time blowing out or styling my hair if I didn't need to.

This hair-care system allows me that.  I wash and condition every other day and am left with beautiful glistening hair that falls just perfect without any styling.  I even let it air dry and I'm left with the same effect!

It smells wonderful and doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy or oily.  You're left feeling fresh and invigorated (by the scent) and your hair is soft and smells great.

It's also wonderful that it's sulfate free.  Many other sulfate-free systems out there are a LOT more money.  You're probably paying for the name of the product more than the effect of the product. L'Oreal has made using a sulfate free system affordable for most of us and the quality is just as good as the more expensive brands.  Worth a try!!

Great conditioner, but stinky

By

from Hyattsville, MD

Comments about L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate Conditioner:

I had high hopes for L'Oreal EverStrong Hydrate conditioner. I waited for a sale and paired it with the coupons I had on it. It is very possible to get the EverPure and EverStrong shampoos and conditioners for a reasonable price (and not the crazy suggested retail price...don't pay that!). I tried the product and while I was happy with the conditioning aspect of the conditioner, the smell is so unappealing to me. I could smell it in my hair all day which was bad since I am not fond of the smell. If you are looking for a good conditioner, give this one a try. It really did do a good job. However, I would open the cap, squeeze the tube a bit and sniff it before you decide to buy. Maybe you will not feel the same way about the smell. Another slightly annoying problem with the conditioner is the tiny hole the conditioner comes out of. You have to squeeze and squeeze to get enough product to condition your hair. I could live with this, but not the smell!!
