EverSleek Frizz-Taming Creme Serum - save your money

I'm always on the look-out for silicone-free frizz tamers, and creams appeal to me because my hair can be dry, and I live in a dry climate - so I get dry, staticky, frizz. I've used other L'Oreal Ever (fill in the blank, they have several lines, and I've tried from all of them) products, with mixed results, but thought I'd give the Frizz-Taming Creme Serum from the EverSleek (new) line a try. I've used worse, and I've used better, that about sums it up. The product smells nice - light and fresh, and it is light in consistency going on, although not over time once applied to hair. Did nothing to control frizz, did nothing to smooth or tame my hair, nor add any additional moisture. If anything, it appeared to dull my hair a bit. And I noticed quite a bit of residue near the end of the day, and especially when I showered the next morning - I didn't use a lot either, so that right there is a dealbreaker. It contains Argan, Sunflower and Olive Oils, so I'm going to assume that's where the residue came from. I would return it if I had kept my receipt (Ulta, good about returns if you try something and don't like it), that's how useless it is for me. Oh well!

L'Oreal EverSleek Frizz Serum for frizzy hair

My hair is thick coarse and way. It is also poofy, frizzy and can almost turn afro or perm like after a meetup with my blow dryer. That's where L'Oreal Paris EverSleek Frizz-Taming Creme Serum comes in. It is in a nice little orange-y bottle, and easy to open and use. After I wash my hair, I would comb the frizz serum into my hair. It doesn't rely on silicone to help smooth hair, which is a definite benefit in my opinion. The smell is okay, nothing to write home about. But they way it works! It really lasts and makes a great difference to my thick frizzy hair. It makes my hair really sleek and shiny. At the end of the day, my hair is still sleek and shiny, though a tad oily looking, but not enough to make me want to go and wash my hair right away. Also, it doesn't weigh my hair down too much. For the price, it can't be beat. I would put it up there with other notable frizz serums. Overall, this L'Oreal EverSleek Frizz-Taming Creme Serum is a handy product for people with thick, coarse frizzy hair like me.
