I've tried over the last 15 - 20 years to find a shampoo that I really could use everyday without drying out my hair, but leave it clean, full of body and shine, and smelling great. I have stood in stores for what felt like hours looking at labels and smelling products. Then in frustration and exhaustion grab something and go. It seemed like I would never find a product that had all the things I wanted and at a reasonable price. That is until now!
As habit would have it, my daughter and I went to the local drugstore to buy a few things, and she ended up buying L'Oreal's Ever Pure Moisturizing Shampoo, while I, on the other hand, bought a recently advertised more expensive "natural" shampoo which was also sulfate-free. I used mine a few days, then, as usual, it just did not meet my expectations.
I sneaked some of my daughter's L'Oreal Ever Pure. Right off, I noticed the fresh smell it had. Nothing that would conflict with my perfume. Secondly, I noticed how clean and tingly my scalp and hair felt. No tight, dry feeling I have experienced with other shampoos. Afterwards, when my hair was dry it had great shine and smell, too! It was healthy feeling.
I have used L'Oreal's Ever Pure--sulfate-free--Moisturizing Shampoo everyday now for the past couple months, and WOW, what a difference! We're sold. We bought L'Oreal's Ever Pure Conditioner as well. It smells minty and fresh, which enhances and compliments the shampoo's fresh natural smell. I still feel I'm doing something good for my head and hair. Thus far, I'm a very satisfied consumer and if you really knew me you'd know that's not easy to do. Oh, and by the way, that other shampoo still sits in my shower caddy untouched. I will eventually justify tossing it, but I don't let go of my hard earned money easliy. Go with Loreal's Ever Pure Moisturizing Shampoo, it's a sure bet!
I do wish however, that it could be packaged a bit differently. The tubes make it easliy overlooked on the store shelf and although, I use less of the Ever Pure than other shampoos, a bigger size would be so nice and convenient. =)
