I Love love LOVE this mascara!! I always get complemented on my long volumized lashes when I use this product. I love the doubled end wand options because the primer wand is excellent to prep my lashes and really help them grow. Then once the primer has dried on my lashes I add the other mascara on my lashes and they really really pop! They become long, volumized and clump free! They are the main feature on my face and definitely my favorite make up product of all time to use.

Before I found this product, my lashes were very very thin and so short I couldn't even use a lash curler if I wanted to. At the time I was 18 (now 19) so you can imagine how unhappy I was with my barely-there lashes. I went out in search of a product I could use everyday while helping my eyelashes grow stronger and healthier. I saw this product in the store, and upon seeing it had a lash serum, I purchased immediately! Well, seeing that i've continued using this product for a whole year, you can already guess that I fell in love with it and would totally recommend it! At first I didn't wear mascara everyday as I only went out every few days, so this product didn't help immediately but the more I wore it the better and faster it helped. After only a few months I could see that, little by little, my lashes were growing, getting thicker and they had actually gotten darker in color! Eventually, I added a few more items to my routine. I now use coconut oil on my lashes every night by using an old (clean) mascara wand, and in the day time if I'm not wearing my mascara and not planning on going out I use vitamin E oil on them. After only about a month of doing this, while still using L'oreals Double Extend Lash Boosting Mascara, my lashes were changing in ways I never imagined possible. To this day, my lashes are so long they touch my eyebrows (without mascara), they are thick and dark. They have actually gotten so thick they started falling out a few each day so I had to cut back on the oils. I love this mascara and I have recommended it to many girls who fell in love with it as well! The only downside is that, with the serum under the mascara itself, the mascara seems to get runny or oily after only a few hours during the summer. Other than that, it's perfect! Ease of Application It's kind of awkward applying a thick serum, and then having to apply an already thick mascara on top of that. If you don't want your lashes to clump and look like one big black blob, get an old (clean) mascara wand and brush it through your lashes after each application of mascara. After only two applications, my lashes look long and clump free while holding shape all day and feeling so soft to the touch!

This mascara has a double sided purpose. One side coats your lashes in this white mascara and then you put the black mascara over the white mascara to make your lashes thicker and longer. It does work but I wouldn't put its performance above any other type of mascara. There are plenty of mascaras that just need two or three coats to perform to what it claims to do; this type really isn't different from what I have noticed, and it flakes off really easily.

I love to search out and experiment with new cosmetic products. I seem to have the most difficulty finding a mascara that does every thing I want it to do. Loreal Double Extend Lash Boosting Mascara is a product I have been happy with but not over joyed with. It is a decent mascara and basically does a good job. This mascara is somewhat difficult for me to apply without clumping, but this could be operator error as I do not have the steadiest of hands. Once I do manage it get it applied and get all the clumps combed out my lashes do look pretty good and appear to be much thicker and longer than they truly are. I am very impressed with the staying power of this mascara. I can apply it early in the morning and it will last through a full day of work and an evening out without the slightest bit of flaking or smudging. Loreal Double Extend Lash Boosting Mascara is a very good drugstore mascara and is well worth you time to check it out.

I am truly a cosmetics junkie, and I'm a sucker for anything new. I have fair skin and very light colored lashes. I have tried so many mascaras-from Chanel to Wet-n-Wild and everything in between. I've always been a fan of Loreal mascaras, so I was especially intrigued by this product. I'm also a big fan of eyelash primers for my puny lashes and feels they really do make a difference. I found this to be a really good mascara, but  see no major "lash boosting" effects. No different that any other primers/mascaras that are out there.  I didn't find it to be flaky or smudgy throughout the day, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I do tend to skip the primer step when pressed for time in the mornings, and it still holds up well as a regular mascara.I wear contacts and have rather sensitive eyes, which were not an issue with this mascara. It wasn't hard to remove at the end of the day. Again, not a bad mascara, especially  for the price.

I was intrigued when I started seeing these double ended mascaras at the drugstores. Theres a couple of brands that started selling double ended products. The containers look pretty cool, you twist one end , and that is the first step in applying the mascara. I guess it is like a primer that makes the mascara last longer. It contains lash boosting serum. Then there is step two which you apply over the serum from step one. The mascara it self seems ok. I think I would use it without step one, as it seems to cplump my lashes together. Also the primer is white, so when you aplpy it to your lashes it actually makes them white. Not pretty. Then you apply alot of mascara to cover the white, and sometimes, i miss spots, and it looks like a dalmation on my eyelashes, again not pretty. I guess the idea of these mascaras was better than the actual product. Which is true for a lot of makeup and advertising, using it to sell less than great products.

My eyelashes are very blonde and tend to think they should go all different directions, it drives me crazy!! I hadn't been able to find a mascara for the longest time that actually made me feel good about my eyelashes. I tried dozens and dozens of different kinds over the last 10 years.. I finally found and tried "Loreal Double Extend Lash Boosting Mascara - Blackest Black" mascara, and I fell in love with it!! It definitely goes on very well, and it also helps to keep my eyelashes in more of ONE direction and helps to curl them up some, which I love!!! I've only tried this "blackest black" kind, but noticed they have others in the Double Extend line. I think this one is definitely a keeper! The only complaint I think I'd have about it, is that the container seemed odd to me the first week or so I used it til I got used to it. It feels like the mascara wand should be attached to the tube that you take off on each end instead of on the center piece, but aside from that, I have no complaints at all! I've been recommending this product to a lot of friends/family lately and the few whom have tried it so far have all loved it as well!!

So I was in the Drug store a few days ago and I noticed the Loreal Double Extend Lash Boosting mascara and read how it can visibly make your lashes softer, thicker, and healthier so I decided to buy and try it out. When I first put on the Loreal mascara I first put on the white serum that states will make your lashes healthier and stonger, but I disliked the fact that the white serum would clump up and look like dandruff on my lashes and wouldn't come off. So then I put of the black coating on top which did make my lashes look incredibly long and thick but I must warn you that the mascara does clump unfortunately plus it smells very bad as well. I did receive a lot of compliments on my lashes as well. At night when I tried to remove the mascara my lashes were extremely hard and it was very complicated trying to get the mascara off. So I decided to go to sleep my my mascara still on my lashes. Well in the morning I was expecting my lashes to be hard and course still, but I noticed my lashes were very soft and the mascara was gone. Suprised that it actually did make you lashes softer I decided to use to more then, but honestly I did not like the white serum very much but overall it was fine.

This is a great product especially if you have very small eyelashes...I never had a mascara that made my eyelashes long and beautiful like loreal....My advice to you, is to try it and you'll see for yourself!

I like this mascara. I only apply the primer to my upper lashes, and I get just the right look. I haven't had any problems with clumps or removel with just soap and water. It is not a waterproof tube that I have, but don't have issues with it running when I get caught in the rain.
