L'Oreal Colorist Collection —

My stylist turned me on to hair color depositing shampoos and conditioners to use in between my hair colorings.  I must admit that I color my roots about every 5 weeks (really need it sooner).  But, that is our secret - right??  Anyway, I've been using L'Oréal Professionnel Colorist Collection for a while now and I really like it. I like the consistency of the product very much.  Most I've tried are very "runny" and end up all over the shower but, this product is thicker and much easier to work with.

L'Oréal Professionnel has revamped their former Artec line and introduced the newest level of hair color maintenance products with the Colorist Collection. It's definitely an improved anti-fade formula that includes L'Oréal Professionnel's new color-recharging complex to protect and extend in-salon color and highlights. The Colorist Collection includes 12 ammonia- and peroxide-free color-depositing shampoos and conditioners that contain botanical extracts, keratin bonding dyes and mica for increased shine. The newly re-designed packaging is also color coordinated for ease of color matching.

I personally use the L'Oréal Professionnel Colorist Collection's hazelnut shampoo & conditioner.  The botanical extracts pro-long the vitality of color between salon visits with nature inspired formulas. This is a color recharging complex that combines natural botanicals and keratin bonding dyes that actually deposits and activates color for healthy-looking vibrant color-rich shine.

Directions:

Cleanse with daily protecting shampoo (I skip that part). Rinse, apply color depositing shampoo then re-rinse. Massage color depositing conditioner through hair from roots to ends. Rinse.  Follow this regimen every OTHER time you shampoo until your next haircolor service.

Cost:  approx. $15ea (8oz bottle)
