Shopping for eye creams can be a real pain, especially for users like myself with sensistive and acne-prone skin. The richness of these creams frequently causes breakouts and other skin freakouts, and to top it all off, eye creams are super expensive.
Out of all the eye products I have tried, L'Occitane Immortelle Eye Balm is the best. Although it's still fairly pricey ($36 for .5 oz), this beauty buy is a little miracle worker. In terms of age, I'm nowhere near close to needing anti-aging products, but I want to start advance protection for my skin, especially my eye area. Unlike other eye creams, Immortelle does not make me break out, and it does what it promises- it brightens, hydrates, and reduces puffiness and dark circles (and you can't beat the pretty blue glass jar it comes in).
Unfortunately, there are still a few cons with Immortelle Eye Balm: 1.) it's pricey; 2.) it doesn't last long; 3.) if you let it sit for more than a few months, you end up with a gross and gooey substance that you don't want to put anywhere near your eye; and 4.) it can leave a film on your skin.
All in all though, I love this product and will continue to use it.
