Costs a fortune, works great

Comments about L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream:

I have incredibly sensitive skin and as I am getting to a more "mature" age I have had an even harder time than when I was younger finding facial care products that work for me. As with most of the products that I have found that seem to improve my skin AND don't cause major irritation L'Occitane Immortelle costs a fortune. I guess whether that fortune is worth it depends on the person. I first got a sample of this at a L'Occitane store in France and had no idea what the price was when I fell in love with it. Going into a store here to pick more up and finding out the price was heartbreaking. I told my husband though and he surprised me with a jar of it for Christmas. It is as wonderful as I remembered. As soon as I put it on my skin immediately looks and feels softer, smoother and younger. And I will say that a small amount goes a long way. It smooths over the skin really nicely and absorbs quickly without leaving behind an oil slick like some anti-aging products I have tried. In an attempt to make it last I have started using it only every other day. I do notice a difference on the days that I don't use it, my skin just doesn't feel the same, but I feel like it is still benefiting me and at the price it is hard to justify using it more often.

Sticks to high... not impressed, like that is Natural!

Comments about L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream:

I got a small sample of this to try from the manufacturer. I have tried a lot of undereye anti-aging type products, it is very difficult to tell if any of them work because either you are looking at an instant fix or long term effects (or both) and the latter is very difficult to review. This has no instant effect. It smells soo bad. It smells like grandma....things I cannot even think of beyond that...things I don't ever try and smell like. I couldn't even use the rest of it, I know it is a very nice product and an excellent brand but this stuff smells so stuffy. It kind of burned my eyes too. I did NOT enjoy the feeling. I did try it more than once since it is 'so nice' and to see if there was any difference. I eventually put it on my arms because I just wanted to use it up, but even there it did not seem that fantastic. I do love that it is all natural and everything in that regard but I do not feel bad that I cannot buy a full container of this.
