Most HelpfulI wanted to try a touch-screen phone but I didn't want to pay iPhone money. The L.G. Vu is not a Smartphone (which I didn't want anyway). The screen is a great size but it does take time to get used to a touch screen. I like the fact that when you key something, you can set your phone to vibrate...

Most HelpfulLG VU CU920...Well I finally got the touch phone. I've always wanted the IPhone but would not pay the price. I got this phone at Walmart through my AT&T account for $49.95. If I went to the AT&T store it would have been double the price, now though even Walmart has lowered the price to $28.95 (WOW) I...
review »I recently purchased two LG Vu Cu920 touch screen phones from Wirefly.com. One phone was absolutely free, with the second phone costing $9.99. Keep in mind that this is a $200+ phone. I must say I am really pleased with the quality of this phone and it is easy to use. The profile is nice and slim, and the phone itself is very durable. I have dropped it twice without any damage, although I recommend purchasing a silicone sleeve which fits over the phone with ease and keeps the housing protected from dropping incidents. (Sleeves can be purchased from ACCStation.com.
Features include calibrating...
review »I bought the LG VU about two weeks after it came out. I thought it was amazing. That first night after I played with it I wanted to take it back. I should have.
The touch screen is pretty sensitive but unless you have a stylis it's not going to hit the buttons you want it to. I was excited about the option for the touch qwerty keyboard. I absolutely never use it because my very petite fingers are two large. It doesn't hit the keys I want and is absolutely worthless. I've reconfigured the touch settings dozens of times and it doesn't ever work. I've ended up using the on screen phone pad with T9....
review »I like this phone alot, and it has a very clear picture on it. Sadly, the QWERTY keyboard is WAY too small...

review »Overall, the LG Vu (CU920) is a decent phone. Not that many features for a touchscreen. It's good if you only want to use it for basic cellular needs (e.g., voice and/or texting). The full QWERTY keyboard was sketchy, at best. It constantly needed recalibrating. If you start typing too fast, it tends to hit other keys, that is, unless you have a stylus, or an equivilent. Another thing is the fact that the micro SD card is not easily accessible. You have to remove the battery just to get to the slot, which requires a restart of your phone. Also, the screen usually is to glossy during the day to...
review »This is my review of the LG VU CU920 phone, which I bought from AT&T with a 2 year plan for my business & personal use.
I guess you could call this a psuedo "smart" phone (wannabe iPhone...as close as you might be able to get for the cost). It's the first phone I bought that has a full HTML browser, camera, and large display touch screen.
The phone is a very sleek, candybar style shape in a glossy piano black finish. Some folks thought that the phone was slippery and felt cheap. Even though the phone's case is mostly plastic, I'd have to strongly disagree. The weight of the phone is significant...
review »The LG Vu is a full featured G3 cell phone. It is completely touch screen operated. Some of the features that it has include...QWERTY keyboard, internet enabled, SD memory card slot for saving MP3's, bluetooth, it records sound, pix and flix. (It does not have a flash for the camera though). It has Video Share, which allows you to share video with someone while you are talking to them, but it is only useful if the person you are talking to also has a phone with Video Share. It recieves Mobile TV. There is one free preview channel called "FLO tv". You have to purchase a monthly subscription...
review »The LG Vu is a super sexy touch-screen phone with a 3-inch display and haptic feedback. Features include AT&T Mobile TV, HSDPA speeds, a 2.0-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, and quad-band support. The LG Vu's camera lacks flash, and there's a learning curve involved with the touch screen. Streaming video was a little choppy as well. Despite a few quibbles with the touch screen, its full features and excellent performance make the LG Vu one of the hottest phones this year. You know, its funny sometimes. I was looking for a new cellphone as I had my last one for 2 years (Sony Ericsson w810i)...
review »I got my LG Vu about 6 months ago. While I do like a lot of the features on it, in order to use the TV feature, you have to sign up for the $15.00 a month internet/data plan AND the $15.00 a month TV service. So, I never use the TV function. All the applications are pay applications, so I also do not use any of those. The screen sensitivity is pretty good and can be adjusted. I like that when texting, they give you the option of the standard texting or the keyboard. It is not at all hard to use. The camera has no zoom function, so that part isn't great. Also, the focus on the camera...
review »The LG-Vu is a great phone for on the go people. With the TV on the go option, as well as email access, IM, and 3g capabilities, it's truly a technical dream. The touch screen makes it easy to access anything on the phone within seconds, instead of having to scroll forever to find what you're looking for. The camera takes good pictures as does the camcorder, and you can insert memory cards to further your storage amount available. Blutooth works great for sending pictures, media messages, and ringtones to anyone else with a blutooth phone. I would advise buying a screen protector though, as I scratched...
review »the lg vli u has a tounch screen that can not be seen on a sunny all. you have to get in the shape of a tree in order to see the screen. My lg Vu frezzes ALL the time. you can not play music on this cell phone. ring tone must be under 300 in order to use as a ring tone. on the lgg vu i have to un do the battiery to reinstall the mini sc card. i purshased this phone in Feb of 2009 and by May of 2009 was ready to throw this piece if junk in the trash. I would never buy a another lg phone because of this lg. i had a blackbeey pearl and loved it. I going to buy another...
review »LG once again put out a beautiful looking phone that turns out to be terribly manufactured. After six months of using this phone, the touch screen began to separate from the body of the phone. Certain areas of the screen are unresponsive or get stuck (as though you're touching it when you aren't). I take great care of my cell phones and this thing looks like it went through the washer or something.
Aside from being in excessively bad condition after a short amount of time, the features of this phone are seriously lacking. If you want a music player, mobile TV, and web browsing -- just spring for...
