LG - envy 2 Cell Phone Review

I own an LG envy 2 Cell Phone, and I would have a hard time getting through even one day without it it. Everything I need to keep my schedule organized is right at my finger tips. I'm not the most savvy of cell phone users, but the LG envy 2 is extremely user friendly. And, if there is something I don't know how to use, I either refer to their wonderful user guide or contact their even more informative help line.

Making phone calls, using the private earpiece, speaker phone, or blue-tooth, is only the beginning of what this phone can do. I have text messaging, to send and receive text messages using the front panel number keys, or open it up to use the full keyboard and larger screen. I also have picture and video capabilities. I can use my LG envy 2 as a camera to take photos, a video camera to take video clips, and a voice recorder to make a recording of my message. All of which I can send and receive just like a text message. There are so many uses for this fabulous phone. Having a built in contact list is crucial because I can't remember, not only phone numbers for cell phones, but for secondary cell phones, land line home and work phones, and e.mail addresses. Each of your contacts can be designated into specific groups and given their own ring-tones. You can even have their picture come up when they call or when you are calling them. The LG envy 2 comes with several ring-tones already built in, but you can also download or record addition tones to fit ALL of you contacts if you choose. The same goes for pictures. There are several that come standard with the phone, but you can download more or take pictures and use them as Caller ID or as your internal or external wallpaper. Games can be purchased to be played on the phone, which is a really nice feature on long car trips. You can access the web to check most anything. I use it mostly for sports scores and weather, but have added an application to access my eBay right from my phone. That way my LG envy 2 helps me keep on top of my internet business, even when I'm nowhere near a computer. I also have access to mobile Email, a navigator, and mobile IM to keep you up to date and moving in the right direction.

But, it's the little touches that really make it a daily necessity. The Calculator, Ez Tip Calculator, Calendar (with the ability to add and keep track of events), Alarm Clock, Stop Watch, and Notepad don't seem like much at first, until you start using them. You'll find yourself accessing these applications more than you thought. There are so many more features than I can even mention, that you would have to go out and get your own LG envy 2 to see which ones best fit your needs.

Now there may be features that are much more important to others, but I have a 19-year-old son serving in Iraq right now and, obviously I love talking to him whenever and wherever I am because his time schedule is pretty hectic over there, but the LG envy 2 has a World Clock that I have set up to show the date and time here, then right next to it, the date and time where my son is stationed. Through all the miles and the huge time difference... that one feature somehow makes me feel a little closer to him.

Anyway, if you're in the market for a great cell phone, sure there are more advanced phones out there, with ALL of the bells and whistles, but also with a HUGE price-tag and dozens of useless applications that I would never have the need to use. The LG envy 2 would be the perfect choice. with all of the features you need to fit your lifestyle built right into this sleek and versatile, modestly priced phone.
