Love It

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have been using an EnV3 phone by LG for a couple of months now and I have to say it is an excellent phone. I just love it. I have not had the first problem out of this phone. The EnV3 fits perfectly in my hand. The sound quality is great and the picture quality is top notch. I love the flip open key board for texting. It is so handy and easy to use. The EnV3 has a great camera that is easy to use and the screen is nearly the size of the phone so you can easily see what you are trying to take a picture of. All of the EnV3 by LG's options are simple and easy to use. I really can't say enough good things about this phone. I have enjoyed it from day one. And usually it takes me a long time to get used to something new expecially a phone!

Good phone, if you don't get a defective phone!

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

As of right now I'm currently using this phone and I've gotta say It's not a bad phone by any means. The phone has got a decent looking design, extremely easy to use interface, cristal clear front LCD screen, extremely comfortable and effective light up QWERTY keyboard, big internal screen, ect. The problems I've got with the phone isn't necessairly with EVERY model available. My issue is with most of them. As of today I've gone through 7 of this same phone. I've had nothing but problems with it. Front screen staying black, keyboard not lighting up, extreme freezing, text messages not sending, keyboard keys stuck in, SD slot not working properly, random shut downs, audio not working, speaker...

LG enV3 VX9200 Cell Phone review

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Within the last several years, I have done my business with Verizon Wireless, and many of the phones I have traded out for have been LG's. Recently, I have recieved the LG enV3 VX9200, this was a big technical upgrade for me. The LG enV3 VX9200 is tech savy, it has the fresh appeal of a cell phone on the outside, yet when you open it, has the feel of a modern computer on the inside. It has many features that can help in this tech savy world. Many of the features included are like many of the origional cell phone features of keeping your contacts, a calculator, and notepad. The newer features include a picture / video camera, music player, internet access, text messaging using the intergrated...

Practical

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The LG eNV3 is a very practical phone for those that don't need all the bells and whistles that cell phone's come with these days. Verizon has great service across the U.S.  Just like the commercials, we've rarely been in places where we've lacked a signal or service for more than a couple of minutes. It also does well in some elevators and high rises in major metropolitan cities.  Unlike a lot of phones, the eNV3 comes with a full qwerty keyboard hidden just beneath an easy flip of the phone.  The keyboard is great for texting and sending quick emails.  The camera and video capabilities are surprisingly sharp and easy to pass along to others.  I suppose by phone sta...

Great if you can't afford a Blackberry

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Our cell phone carrier is Verizon Wireless.  We have 3 people on the account and we all wanted Blackberry phones.  I wanted to switch to Sprint, since they had a plan that we could actually afford.  My husband didn't want to switch because he worried about the quality.

So we ended up at Verizon's store looking to renew our 2 yr contract and get some new phones.  I have previously owned the LG En-V and the LG EnV2.  The En-V was big and bulky, the EnV2 I liked because it was much slimmer and it was a gorgeous shade of green.

I knew LG had come out with the EnV3 and the salesperson confirmed that the phone was only one step down from a Blackberry.  Since we coul...

LG En-V 3 doesn't perform as well as they claim

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

The phone is called En-V 3 and it's manufactured by LG.  I purchased mine through Verizon Wireless.  I was told that since I didn't want to spend $90 a month for Blackberry access (3 people @ $30 each) that the LG En-V 3 was the "next step down" from a Blackberry.

Well if that statement is true, it must be a huge step up for the Blackberry.  Internet access is slow and what you can view is extremely limited.

I've owned my phone for roughly a year and a half now and found out shortly after purchasing it that Verizon was aware of technical issues with the phones but of course, the sales people didn't mention those issues when we were trying to decide which phones to purchase. ...

LG Env3 - Good texting phone

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

LG is another one of my favorite brands second to Samsung. This was a nice phone.

Good for texting mostly. Obviously not a smart phone so no apps or anything like that. It doesn't have a lot of extra features. Just the basics.

The front screen is nice because you can text from there as well as view other simple things (for everything else you have to flip open the phone). I also like that you have actual buttons on the front so it feels more like a 'phone' than some of the touch screens for those who like that.

This is mostly a messaging phone and that's what it's best for. The inside keyboard is nice and the keys are a good size. It's pretty easy to use.

The internet on here was kinda s...

envy of what?

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I had the envy 2 and loved it.  my fiance needed a phone and i had an upgrade so i passed my envy 2 on to him and got th e envy 3.  the envy 2 is about a million times better.  my envy 2 FELL in a MOP BUCKET and still worked great for 2 years.  i am on my third envy 3 since march 2010.  these are not made to last.  my camera just started taking pictures, filling up my memory card, my screen went blank and i couldnt access anything from the inside.  this was a month after i got it brand new.  disappointing to say the least.  i am not going to bore the world with the details of the other TWO replacements, but they were all under warranty, not my insurance.  all this being said, the camera is excellent for a cell phone and texting is really really easy with the keyboard.  i also like how customizable the envy series phones are but i suppose that would be the case with any cell phone.  i hope the enve 4 is up to their previous standards, the 3 is inferior.

Shuts off when Texting

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

So I was excited to get the LG enV3 cell phone especially because it has a full keyboard and I have been texting more lately. Soon after I bought the phone, I noticed it would shut off while I was texting on the full keyboard and sometimes it would shut off if I was carrying it in my pocket. I checked with the store and they said come back in a couple of months for a software update that would fix the problem. I couldn't make it back in because I was a new mother, lost track of time and then it was too late. A friend of mine had the same problem and he followed through with it. They tried three times to fix his phone and finally admitted it was a phone problem and gave him a replacement phon...

I love the LG enV 3 phone!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I got this phone about a year and a half ago... and have loved it ever since! It only has one con and that is the voice quality. This goes and comes at times - sometimes I have problems with it, sometimes I do not. However, I've been told by many people that with most smart phones, the more advanced they get, the worse the call quality will be.

I do a great deal of texting and this phone has been perfect for me! You can text using the outside/standard buttons or you can text on the side where it has the full keypad. This is a great feature - and you can also flip between these two modes while using the phone, so, it allows a lot of versatility. It is also good for going online and has many ...

Good for the most part

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The LG Envy phone is great for texting because it has the typewriter with it. That is so convenient, I love it. The pictures literally suck while I look at them on my phone, I think OMG this is aweful, but* I am so glad I did not delete them all right then and there. I have been forwarding my cell phone pics to my computer and WOW what a difference!! They look great on my puter and I do not have to enlarge them or redo anything before I print them off. A lot of difference from phone to computer though. I live in the boonies to and it usually has pretty good reception or at least 90 percent of the time. All in all it is a good phone, if you send your crappy pics from your phone to your c...

great phone

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love this phone. I am not very hip with all the texting and stuff. But this phone has made it easy. My son and I have the same phone, and he likes his too. It makes it easy to keep in touch. Sending pictures and texts are easy and convenient. I have Verizon Wireless and have not had any problems with cell service. I am still figuring some stuff out. But it has been great. I just started getting music and it is easy and not expensive. I really enjoy my new phone. We have a family share plan and I am thinking of getting my daughter a phone on it as well. That way the whole family can stay in touch. One thing I really like about the phone is the Qwerty keyboard, it makes texting a...

An average phone in yesterday's market...

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

When I went to buy my new cell phone I had my eye on the purple Motorola Rival. It's was simple, pretty, and functional. The buttons were very intuitive. I had my mind set then the sales guy came over and said the enV3 was very similar but more durable. They were both the same price with my phone plan so I took the blue enV3. It drops calls (could be more Verizon than the phone), the top notch camera can be grainy and the full keyboard has down right wonky settings that doesn't make it much easier than texting with a number pad. Lesson learned: Never trust a salesman, even if the sale doesn't make him a quick buck.

holds a charge for an entire weekend!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

oh my goodness, how I love and adore this phone! It is wonderful. let me count the ways...

1) it holds a charge longer than any other phone I've ever had, and longer than any of my friends phones. I used this phone constantly, texting and talking, for an entire weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so it was a long weekend at that) and I still had ALL  of my battery bars. it didn't need to be charged until Sunday. amazing.

2) it also has a full keyboard, and i can never go back to having a phone without a keyboard. how do people text without one?

3) it has GPS, which does cost extra, but it's nice to know that it has one if you are ever in a jam.

4) it has speakerphone

5) it'...

Okay phone...

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

This phone may be the best replacement to the worst phone LG has ever put out there!  I replaced an ENV2 with this phone.  While the phone is a major step up from the Evn2, it still has a myraid of problems.  It has a horrible battery life (it will go dead within hours from a full charge while not being used), randomly shuts itself off and sometimes will power back up, speakerphone is very difficult to hear with (you sound like you are in a well to the person on the other end of the line),   If it was only me who had these problems I would not be as harsh on the phone.  However, my brother-in-law went through 3 phones before giving up and friends have all g...
