Makes all the Other Cell Phones Green with Envy:

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I become quite attached to some of my technology.  Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it right?  My Motorola Rzr has held up through thick and thin, drops, water, and children playing with it.  I loved it -- except for one thing -- the texting. As texting became something I needed to do every day, several times a day, and my phone was becoming pretty old, I decided to purchase the Verizon,** LG enV2 in maroon and black. Features of the Verizon LG enV2**

The LG-UX9100M is a slim, easy to carry cell phone that is not so small that it is easily misplaced.  It has a long list of capabilities.  The camera is fabulous and easy to use.  It focuses itself.  It has it's own choices of ringtones, so you don't have to download ringtones unless you want to.  The sound is adjustable from low to high and you also have the option of a speaker phone which I use when I don't have the bluetooth on.  The messaging system is great.  The only thing I don't like about the messaging system is that it doesn't continue to alert of a message after the first alert. The phone book is well organized and easy to understand. It has the navigator and  mobile instant messaging.  Did I mention text messaging?  The keys on this phone are easy to touch.

Great phone!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love my LG EnV2! I think it is one of the best phones I have ever had. I've had it for about two years and I have never had to replace it once (granted I'm not that rough on phones) but trust me this phone has been through the ringer, sort of, I've dropped it multiple times and it always seems to work for me. I love the fact that it has a qwerty keyboard, it kinda spoiled me, because after texting on this phone I could never text on a simple cell phone again, I'd text to slow! I love the fact that its small yet big enough to hold on to. I also love the fact that I can chose not to open the phone and just use the simple texting and calling portions of the phone for quick message viewing and...

LG Env2 is a great phone overall but quality of its look is bad.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love this phone. The LG Env2 is truly the best phone I have owned in a very long time. I used to have the Chocolate which was really difficult to use and often would randomly make phone calls and hang up on people, etc. This phone has all of the great features that I have needed and wanted. It has the MP3, better camera than others I've ever had, even a camcorder/recording option. It also has the Qwerty keyboard which is essential if you text frequently. I use about 100 texts per month and could not handle it before getting the Qwerty. I love the speakerphone option because I can talk and type on my computer at the same time. The pictures are much easier to download off of this phone than ...

I love my Env2!!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I received my Env2 as a birthday gift. I love it! It is the first "cool" phone I have owned. It was my first phone with a QWERTY key pad, and I don't know how I survived without it. It is so easy to text on, and I text so much more now that I have a phone with a keypad. This phone also has a great camera. I have a digital camera, but I sometimes prefer to use my phone because it takes excellent pictures. It doesn't have a zoom, but it still works great for most shots. It also takes video and has internet available. I also use my phone as an MP3 player, which I love! You can play the music without headphones or with them. The battery life is also great. I can use my phone a lot and it lasts for days without charging. I think the phone is a perfect size. It isn't too small, but it also isn't too big, and fits easily in a pocket. Overall, I am so happy with my Env2, I don't want to get rid of it!

The EnV2 does not leave much to want for and is user-friendly.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The EnV2 is a great phone.  The only thing I miss is being able to save images from the internet to my phone, which this phone is not capable of for some reason.  Otherwise, it is user-friendly and easy to use.  It has many features as well as applications that come along with your contract.  Not to mention, the GPS Navigator is much better than my TomTom!  If there was anything else I wish was easier to find are holders for this style phone and to be able to change to keylock code from okok to a four digit code which I can't seem to do.  I have been able to collect a very diverse list of songs and am able to play wherever I go and have a pseudo-"Ipod" with which to enjoy music for hours!

LG enV2 Cell Phone: Many Smartphone Features at a Lower Cost

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

LG is a diverse company and its name can be found on everything from washing machines to television sets. However, when most people think of LG Electronics, the first item that comes to mind is cell phones and one we have been using in my family for more than a year is the LG EnV2 Cell Phone, a cell phone with most of the qualities of a smartphone, but sold for a more reasonable price. Let’s take a closer look at this communications device:

Cell Phone Commentary:

LG EnV2 Cell Phone is a clamshell style phone with interior and exterior screens, along with interior and exterior keypads. The outside features a normal keypad (similar to that of traditional telephones) while the i...

LG enV2 Cell Phone is great for texting

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The LG enV2 Cell Phone is a very great phone for the most part. I enjoy the side flip phone feature with the large buttons on the front of the phone. The Qwerty keyboard in the middle makes it to simple and fun to text with. I also enjoy the very large screen on the inside of the phone and the fact that you can put a picture on the front screen and the inside. It always has great reception inside and out.

There are a few cons to this phone also. The biggest one is that it occasionally turns its self off. I have had mine replaced once and the new phone seems to be functioning well. I do wish that it had a larger external sceen. It is also hard to take pictures of yourself. It is hard to push the button to take the picture without having your finger in the way of the camera. Another problem is that you must have the phone open to use the speaker mode with is very awkard.

In general it is a good phone for texting but it does have its few flaws as with all phones.

The LG enV2 is the best phone for texting

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got the LG enV2 more than two years ago from Verizon. This is the first time that my two year contract has come up and I haven't immediately run to the Verizon store for a new phone - I have no desire to get anything else! I am much less a talker and text ALL the time, and this phone definitely fits those purposes. I love the flip phone and having the full QWERTY keyboard - I don't know what I'd do without it! The screen inside is a good size, and I never have a problem hitting the right keys, which is important when i'm texting quickly! I'm thinking of switching out my current EnV2 for a new enV2 - just because some of the paint (the silver on the sides) has chipped off over tim...

Your friends will envy your LG Env2

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

My husband got me this phone - used - for my birthday a couple years ago. I wanted a phone with a qwerty keyboard and web access. Out of all the env's I think the env2 has been my favorite when I was looking at phones for a long time. I can't review this from a brand new standpoint as he got this used, but it was rarely used before he got it and I've had very little problems with it. I love the color (I have the maroon) and it is quite easy to use. I am an avid and frequent texter so this has worked well for me. The battery life seems decent although over time I have noticed that I do charge it every couple days. This phone has not let me down. I travel about 3-4 times a year out of state an...

The LG Envy 2 is a very reliable phone.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Verizon LG ENV2 Cell Phone; It currently comes in two colors: black and maroon. This is a sleek clam-shell style phone that opens to reveal a QWERTY keyboard and a large 2.4-inch screen. It is great for sending text messages. The front of the phone has a number keypad, call send, OK, call end/power buttons along with music launcher and voice dialing/recorder keys. You can make phone calls, launch the music player and listen to music, record voice notes and use the camera without opening the clam-shell. For all other tasks you will need to open the flip. The number keys are enormous in contrast to the small screen and have milky white back-light.Open the side flip to use the full QWERTY keyboa...

Great phone with tons of features

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I previously had a different LG phone, and liked it pretty well, but I was frustrated with the music player, which would start playing in my pocket or purse whenever anything touched the buttons on the outside of the phone. Once it started playing, I had to open the phone to stop it. Frustrating. I was also frustrated with having to text from a numeric keypad. So, I upgraded to the ENV2. I like LG phones, they work well and last a long time. The batteries last a long time between charges, both when in use and when in stand-by mode. This phone has a keyguard which prevents one from pocket-dialing some stranger in Japan or France, or some equally expensive place without being aware of it. It i...

The BEST Cell phone I have EVER owned!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I waited until the moment the LG ENV2 was avaiable and used my new every 2 on this newer model from LG.. I have been so pleased with every LG phone I have owned but this one by far exceeds the others...I did have a problem and am currently on my second of this phone but it's just as good if not better then the original one...The original one I got one day after it was available on the website and after a few weeks the 0 button was having some issues and then T-9 was missing some of my words added to the dictionary...it wasn't until after owning it for about 3 months that the firmware started to muck up and I went and easily exchanged it for the one i have now...The camera is excellent...better than any one I have seen on a phone and the ability to text on the front and ease of texting on the inside is what really sold me...this phone is a must have for the serial texter! Love it! and couldn't recommend it more!

enV2 is awesome!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The enV2 is a well-designed phone for anyone who loves to text as much as I do.  The only downsides to me are the small buttons (compared to the Voyager) and the chrome trim which seems to flake off after a few months of carrying the phone in your pocket.  The small size is a plus (with the exception of the small buttons) and is very comparable to the Razr v3 in both dimensions and weight (I previously owned and operated a Razr v3).  Fast processing and a large interior screen are huge improvements over the Razr and I think people should at least give this phone a try, especially given the price.

Good basic phone for the price

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

The LG env2 is a good basic phone for the price, but it doesn't stack up to higher end verizon phones. The keyboard is nice, but the buttons are smaller than the enV, so some users may find it harder to use. LG kept the space bar on both sides, which is a feature you either love, or don't really use. The camera is 2.0 mega-pixels like its predecessor, but this time around there is not a flash option, so nighttime pictures are impossible in inadequate lighting situations. Since it is a cheaper phone in verizon's line-up you shouldn't expect too much of the phone. For those looking for an upgrade to the enV, I would suggest the LG Voyager which features a huge touch screen on the front versus the small, but functional screen on the front of the env2. If you aren't interested in all the bells and whistles of a touch screen, but still love the qwerty keypad, this phone is well within a budget and will suit your needs.
