The LG enV cell phone is the best cell phone I've ever had!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've used several different cell phones by several different manufacturers including the Samsung Alias. The enV is by far my favorite. Why? There are several reasons. The enV has a better camera than most cell phones; clocking in at an amazing 2.0 mega-pixels. You can take photos without even opening the phone with the touch of a button. It's extremely easy to use...so easy that my 1 year old daughter has managed to take photos before without my knowing! The pictures are of decent enough quality that when I print 4x6 pictures, there isn't any pixelization. The camera also features a lens cover so that you don't get scratches or dust on the lens. You can also flip the camer...

Envy seems to have a mood disorder!!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I had to take the phone back and replace it at Verizon, they were great about it.

The phone synched to the Prius really well, phone book transfer and all. I plug it in about every third day or so. My mom uses hearing aids and has really bad hearing even with that. Mom could hear calls on the ENvy while she was in the hospital. Reception is great everywhere but my house but that has been the rule with all my phones (what is in these walls!) It is comfortable to use and the screen is so clear.

When I first had it I thought maybe my PC caused it to lose control. The clock would fluctuate between the real and one hour earlier. The calendar and alarms would not go off. When I would pick it up in the morning it would have a random screen...photos, some sort of command screen..just whatever.

It has settled down and I love it for texting and games but my Chocolate was much better for the MP3. It still will come up with random screens during its downtime..... is it possessed?

great phone for texting!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I got this phone almost 2 years ago.  Love it!  It is easy to use, like that there is a full keyboard.  The drawback to this phone would be it's bulky size.  It doesn't slide easily into a pocket.  Although it's size is big, it is a durable phone.  I have young kids that have played with, thrown and spilt things on this phone.  It is still working like a champ.  Others have complained of short battery life, but I have experienced just the opposite. I can go almost a week of a lot of talking without draining the battery.  It does quickly charge as well.  Just recently I have started having problems with the charging system and not able to talk...

I envy the enV!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I saw this phone a while ago and thought it looked like something I NEEDED!  When it was time to get a new cell phone, I did a lot of research online to see what others had to say.  I was trying to decide between this phone and another that was similar to it.  The reviews I read about this phone were mostly positive.

I have to say, I'm glad I chose this phone.  I don't have anything negative to say about it.  I thought I'd hate it because it isn't a flip phone.  But I actually don't really notice that it's not a flip phone.  The buttons lock after 7 seconds (this can be changed to make it default to lock at other intervals, or not at all) and I n...

Great phone for the money

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I've had this phone for a few month now and love it!  The QWERTY keyboard is awesome, especially after thinking I'd hate it.  I went from using a Motorola keypad, which I was a quick draw on.  I've used the speakerphone multiple times and the other party has mentioned they don't notice a difference.  The navigator has proved useful on several occasions and the screen is great for viewing pages on the MobileWeb.  I'm not a big user of the MP3 player, so cannot fully comment.  The camera is great... crisp pictures, great resolution.  The best thing about the camera, however, is that I can throw it in my purse with my keys and it's not even scratched yet!  And the other reviews are right on about the battery!  I only have to charge every 3-4 days and I use my phone all the time.

More disadvantages than advantages.

Overall

When I got this phone, I was really excited because I thought it was a nice alternative to the basic flip phone. The keyboard was a positive, too. However,a) it is very bulky.b) the front screen is tiny.c) the numbers on the numberpad on the bottom of the phone are really close together.d) the main screen when you flip it open has the capacity to be bigger, however they made it small.e) everyone has it.f) the phone bill will probably be higher than you expected because they charge you for *everything. *If you go on the internet only a few times, be prepared for 40 dollars extra on your phone bill. The fees aren't small. I now only use it for texting and calls after I got my first bill, but still it goes over and I'm not exactly sure why. Too much charged extra. If you want everything on your phone, go for the iPhone.

I love the QWERTY keypad!

The LG EnV is a great phone for those of us who prefer to keep in touch via text messaging and email.  With my upgrade credit and mail-in rebate, I spent only about $30.00 on the phone.  The battery lasts a long time and charges very quickly.  The 2.0 megapixel camera is protected by a rotating lenscap.  The battery slot is covered by a rotating, permanantly attached cap.  And I love the metallic green color!  However, shortly after first receiving the EnV, I notice that the "T" button stuck and was told by my firends and family that sometimes I'd sound very far away as if I were on the other side of the room from my cell phone.  I exchanged it within the f...

The envy truly is 'envious' ;)

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

When I first bought the ENVY from Verizon, I was estatic! I liked how the front was a fully functional phone, then it opened up to a full keyboard, which makes texting so much easier. The phone is really simple to use, especially if you haven't owned a cell phone before. The camera quality is excellent, i've even sent some of the pictures i've taken on the phone to my email and printed them out. VCAST is available, however I did not use this feature as much. You can play games, search the web, listen to music and do just about anything you can do normally, just on your phone. Overall, this phone is one of the top phone that I have ever used, and when my two year contract is up, I may even shed a tear for my new little friend.

Great phone! Too bad Verizon disables features!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Love my LG env (orange)!  This is a great little phone but Verizon doesn't allow you to put ringtones on that you didn't purchase from them!  What's up with that?  The qwerty keyboard is a great feature but sometimes hard to get out of capital letter mode.  Also, the internal screen would be much better if it used all the space available instead of having wide black strips on either side of the picture.  The text is a bit small making it a bit difficult to read at times.  However, I still love this phone and am happy with my choice!  The battery life on this phone is great too!  I only have to charge it every few days even after spending significant time making calls. This phone also has standalone mode so you can listen to music on airplanes.

lg vx9900 sucks. The customer service is disservice.

Overall

We purchased 3 of these phones in April 08. One would not hold a charge. Determined it was the phone, not the battery. Sent it to LG service center. Another phone came back that service center had damaged(staple through box broke face of phone). We immediately sent back the broken one. A week and half later I got the same broken phone back with a note that it was water damaged and could not be repaired or replaced. Argued with the service center. They said to send it back and they would take care of it. A week and a half later, got the same phone back with same note. They stand by the idea that I somehow damaged the phone when they damaged the phone, and if the circuitry was damaged by water, they had sent me the phone in that condition. Crooks

The Verizon enV Cell Phone was so not worth the money.

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

The Verizon enV Cell Phone was such a big hit when it came out.  I wish now it would have been a hit and miss for me.  It cost me $400.00 which I thought whatever at the time because I just wanted it but then came the problems not so shortly after.  When I would text someone it would send the text to everyone in my address book(I am not stupid and I do know how to text) this happened quite frequently.....it was embarrassing....lol.  I took it in for repairs, got it back, and guess what.......same thing!  Not only that but the phone was like 4 months old and wouldn't keep it's charge.  I sent my green enV in and they gave me a brand new silver one.  Wasn't that nice?  Anyways, this phone has broke on me several times and now it's at the point where they told me they quit making them.  I got the phone for Christmas of 07 hasn't even been a year.

Easy to uses, attractive design and just the right size to find.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The Verizon Envy VX9100M has spoiled me.

It is so easy to enter contacts, making calls, send e-mails and instant messages, listen to music and browse the web on this telephone, that I hate having to use any of my friends cell phones. I also love how the Envy looks and feels. The plum color is enticing and the size is just perfect to hold and locate in my purse. Its video screen is crisp. and the 2.0 mgp camera takes excellent pictures and videos. This is the best cell phone I have seen, it has everything I want and I still can not find anything wrong with it, and I have been using this phone for over six months.

Cute phone- bad reception

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I got this phone from Verizon Wireless soon after it came out.  I like it much better than the older LG Envy that just seemed like it was HUGE to me.  I had gotten used to a phone with a QWERTY keyboard, but the Samsung I had also gave me a lot of problems.  I like the look of this phone, I have the red model.  My husband has the black model.  I actually like the phone, it is easy to access navigation, email, IM, etc but the reception is terrible.  I have not had issues with reception or dropping calls in literally 3 or 4 years until I got this phone.  Now I constantly have people complaining that I am breaking up, I drop calls, and I can't get a signal.&nb...

Good, durable product, high quality.

Overall

Overall, I've been very pleased with my phone.  I did have a minor problem initially with the phone charger, I was actually unable to talk on the phone and charge it at the same time, no one could hear me.  However, Verizon was very pleasant and provided a replacement at no extra charge.  I usually tend to try and purchase durable products for myself knowing that many accidents have happened, especially working outside with Habitat building houses, and I must say this phone is very durable, I'm pleased.  It's gotten wet, dropped, kicked, tossed, sat on, and had stuff spilled on it and it still works just like new.  Granted, I wouldn't try all of these things just to ...
