LG - enV VX9900 Cell Phone —

LG EnV VX9900

So I got the orange LG EnV VX9900 because my boyfriend has the silver one and he really likes his phone. I haven't ever really had any luck with LG phones so I was a little reluctant. My last one froze up all the time and the battery life wasn't very good. I got the phone and 3 days later it was freezing up and I couldn't use either keypad to call verizon and figure out what was wrong with it. At this time I was reaqdy to just get as far away from LG phones as possible, but I decided to go ahead and try this one again.

Cons:
The phone is a little awkward to try to keep in your pocket during the day because it is so big.
The screen on the outside is really small, you really have to open your phone to be able to see the picture.
You cannot assign a different text message tones for your contacts.
The speakerphone only works when the phone is open.
The zoom on the camera doesn't really work that great and it takes forever to actually take the picture.
When you drop it, if it is orange, the scratches are gray. But if you scratch the gray part it is orange.

Pros:
The keypad is amazing. My four-year-old daughter can even use it.
The sound quality is pretty good when you have the phone open.
The internet is really easy to use on it but some pages don't work on it.
The mp3 player is really good.
You can find alot of cases and covers for it online but very few in stores.
The inside screen is very big and good for viewing videos.
The menu style is really easy to use, as most verizon menus are.
It takes a memory card, which makes transferring pictures a breeze.

Overall it really is a decent phone. I have had it for about 4 months now. I really didn't like anything about it at first except for the mp3 player. I am now used to it's size and am actually pretty happy with the phone altogether. It has it's setbacks but so far for an LG it is working really well.
