I purchased LG dishwasher, washer, dryer and refrigerator. All top of the line SS units. Trust me on this.......Not so top of the line! In fact, the cheapest unit I've ever owned worked way better. I bought these thinking they would look so pretty in my home. Didn't consider that they might make my house stink.
Buy LG dishwasher if you desire to remove the dishes from the dishwasher and handwash them. For those that come semi clean, they will need to be dried because even after LG replaced the entire front panel of my dishwasher with a reengineered front, it worked even worse. The dishwasher has an odor now.
Buy LG clothes washer if you want your clothes be washed with rotten water because the washer doesn't drain properly. This causes the clothes to stink after you dry them. (which takes at least three cycles in the beautiful but not efficient LG clothes dryer because the sensor doesn't work after about a year). Even the LG repairman told me that LG had a significant problem with their dryer sensors. My business partner has the same units and he is beginning to have the same problem.
The door on the refrigerator doesn't shut because it rubs to closely to the opposite door. You have to shove it shut.
Bottom line. YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU BUY LG.
I have had great luck with LG LCD's/plasma. That is the only good experience I have had with LG. Maybe I just lucked out but I've been reading the reviews on their appliance all over the internet and it appears the general concensus is LG APPLIANCES STINK! (some litterally).
This is my experience. The only way to guarantee not to have the same experience I have had is not to buy LG. Spend your money wisely, wish I had.
