When our top loading washing machine bit the dust, we decided to try a front loading washer. After much research, we decided on the LG Electronics model WM0642H. This is the best washing machine that I have ever had. It gets our clothes clean while using less water and detergent. The washer is so quiet that I sometimes forget that I am doing laundry. When the wash is done, the clothes are practically dry. Drying time is cut in half.
I do let the tub air out after laundry. I feel like it needs to dry out since the seal is so tight. I don't have small children around so I feel...

This is my first washing machine that I have ever purchased. I did a lot of research, and this washing machine was rated very highly. I have to agree. It is so easy to use, uses very little detergent and water, and so quiet that you hardly know that it is running. The clothes come out so dry that the drying time is cut at least in half (if not more).
I do recommend leaving the door open occasionally so the interior can dry out. The seal is so tight that it leaves moisture inside. I just remember to close the utility room door and then later on in the day go back and close the washer...

This washing machine is EXTREMELY QUIET! All of the pros i have checked on the bottom basically explain this product! It saves water, it has places for you to load your power/liquid detergent, bleach, softner, and you have a lot of options like Heavy Duty, Normal, Whitest Whites, Delicate, ETC. GREAT MACHINE!

This is a review for the LF front load washing machine. This washer definitely cleans better than any top loader i've owned. It uses less water and is more energy efficient. It also uses less detergent, so you are saving money all around. There is one downside and I think this is true with most front loaders, water settles in the front seal and mold develops. You have to try to keep it clean, which is difficult because it is hard to get at. Always keep the door open between washes and this seems to help somewhat.

I love the fact that this LG washing machine doesn't sound like a dinosaur. Before, I could only wash clothes when my family was away because our old machine was so loud. Sometimes it would get off balance and start vibrating. This little guy does its job with out all the ruckus. I absolutely love it.
