This washer-dryer combo is very efficient and runs quietly.  The drying takes a little while longer than in a traditional dryer, because it sucks out the moisture.  However, there is little need for ironing afterwards.

 This model is very good for small spaces.

The combo washer and dryer is great if you need to save space! The washer is great however when it is done washing it does not have a option to continue to drying. When your ready to dry it takes almost 4 hours!!! It does not operate like a typical dryer - it has no air vent so after the clothes are...

The house I bought was built before washer/dryers were common, so there was no washer vent and I didn't want to punch one through the wall. This LG costs less than a comparable washer & dryer and takes up less than half the space. The direct drive motor is very efficient, drawing minimal current which translates into energy savings. Using a variable speed DC motor directly driving the drum means there are no belts, gears, or clutches to wear out. It's 115 volt, so it can be plugged into any household outlet. This is very important for apartment or condo dwellers.

MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME THE NEW LG WASHER AND DRYER. THE WASHER IS A FRONT LOAD HE, IT USES NEARLY NO WATER AND LEAVES MY LAUNDRY CLEANER THAT MY ONL GE BY FAR! IT IS ENERGY EFFICIENT AS WELL. I DID NOTICE THOUGH, WHEN NOT IN USE, LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN OR THE INSIDE WILL SMELL "MILDEWY" OTHER THAN THAT, IT IS WONDERFUL!

I don't usually reccomend a washing machine, but wow!  This is really the best machine ever. I hope that you like it!  It really cleans the clothes clothes, and it east to clean!   Good luck.  Go for it!  You will be very happy.  I promise.

I have had my LG washer and dryer for about 3 months now and I am very please with the performance. They seem to use less energy and my clothes are noticeably cleaner.
