Thw LG WM2487, unit while not even being reviewed by Consumer Reports is by far the best of the LG line for features vs. price. The WM2688 has a few more features but the increased price point just isnt worth the $$. I bought mine 5 months ago and have not had a single complaint. After leveling the unit there has been no, read NO, shaking, even tho this is on the second floor. I love my 2487 and wouldnt trade it for any other on the market. Well mabye the WM2487HWA, but thats it ;-).
