When I initially looked at this washing machine at Best Buy, I was skeptical. I did not think I would use all of the fancy, high-tech features. I was fairly certain that I just needed something to wash and dry my clothes efficiently.
Now, after 6 months of using this machine almost every day, I am very grateful to the pushy Best Buy sales guy for talking me into it. I actually use the advanced features. I use the steam function to get the wrinkles out of clothes I hang-dry. I hardly ever have to break out the iron! I even thrown in dry clean only suits (jackets as well as pants/skirts) on the steam function. Now I go the the dry cleaners about 1/3 less than I did before I bought this washer.
My husband is in the army, and I routinely pack in 2-3 pairs of his ACUs in each load. It actually cleans his dirty, smelly uniforms the first time, saving me time, effort and money! For the average consumer, it easily washes 5-6 large towels per load.
However, when I have a small load of delicates or kitchen towels, I don't have to feel bad about wasting water because it adjusts to the individual load.
Not only do I save money on electricity and water, but I also save money on detergent. Because this is a front-loader, I use the 2x or 3x concentrated detergents.
I would recommend this machine to anyone.
