When we moved I vowed never to own another GE washer or dryer.  Our previous house had them and they were awful.  I hated laundry.  When we welcomed our LG front loaders to the house, I changed my mind about laundry.  It has never been easier!

The LG front load washer is wondeful!  I swear that my...

I own a front load LG.  I have learned that it cleans the clothes, but after 6 months of use it gives the clothes a mildew smell.  We had a friend of ours that works on these washers check ours out.  (His family also owns the set!)  He told us that theirs smells the same way.  Not only does the...

I own the LG WM2233H front load washer and I hate it. I have been using the machine since the end of April. It is now August. I started noticing a mildew smell on my clothes and in the drum itself. Worse than that my friends were noticing the smell on my towels first then my workout clothes, now everything! At first I thought I was doing something wrong so I threw out most of my towels and my workout gear. That was a mistake.......all the new items I bought are already smelly! When you pay this kind of money for a product you should expect it to work, but it doesn't. What a piece of garbage! I...

I really did my research before I purchased my washer and dryer. The LG front load washer and dryer were highly rated on consumer reports so I went with their recommendation. I love them! I purchased the pair in the color titanium which is similar to the look of stainless steel. The washer is incredibly quiet. We can start a load of wash before we go to bed and never hear it even though our laundry room is just on the other side of the wall from our bedroom. The tub is really large so you can wash a lot of clothes in one load and they all come out clean. The control panel is easy to operate...

I bought the LG washer after moving to my new house in July 2008. I had read reviews and blogs online about various front loaders. I have to admit I was a little nervous about spending a lot of money for a washing machine. So far I am pleased with my purchase but I have also learned a lot.

You must clean the rubber seal in the washer every two to four weeks. I have also learned to check the rubber seal every time I wash. My husband left some nails in his pocket which ended up trapped in the rubber seal. This resulted in occluding the little holes in the front which led to a small...

This LG washer costs more than a regular top-loading washer, but it is definitely worth the extra investment.  Not only will you feel good about yourself for using this washer (it uses much less water, it clean extremely well with cold water, and it generates its own electricity), you will also save tons of your precious time!  I can fit almost twice as much laundry into this washer as I could fit in my regular top-loader.  And even though I am putting more clothes into the washer, they are coming out cleaner.

Along with the regular wash cycle, I frequently use the sanitizing cycle (particular...

This is the best washer I have ever used. It cleans even with cold water. Even though it has many settings, it is very easy to use. It can do a big load with no problems. The under drawer is nice too. I have no vibration problems with mine.

Being a mother of twin boys, this washer has made my life so much easier!  With a traditional washer it takes three times the loads and it get the clothes so much cleaner!  It's much more energy effecient by using much less water and less detergent.   And the fact that it is front loading makes it so much easier to get the clothes in and out.  This is the best washer I have ever purchased.  I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.  YOu wont be dissapointed!

My wife and I bought this washer (and the matching dryer) not too sure of the LG name in appliances. We have been pleasantly surprised with the machine. It works very well, responds well to different situations including comforters, sneakers, etc. The machine can start to smell mildewy, but all you need to do is run a load with bleach every once in a while. I really like the dinging noises it makes and the easy of use.

I love my LG. When I first had it installed (by the store), it was on a pedastal and walked all over the room (the floor wasn't totally level). We returned the bottom drawer part and they re-leveled it. No walking anymore! No noise - it is so quiet we often start it as we go to bed. (2nd floor laundry room with 2nd floor bedroom right next door) I could never do that with my old washer - it would keep us awake until it finished! I always find something else to put in the machine, as soon as I start it. There is no way to open it to add anything, once you have pushed the start button. ... review »

I have the WM2277HW Model washer. Also purchased the dryer as a stackable set. I have had them well over a year now. I hate both. My whites are now grey. I even ordered the German brand of laundry soap, Persil over the internet. Suppose to be recommended for front load machines.. especially German. Stains do not come out unless I spot and scrub before I wash. Never had to do that with my 22 year old machine. The washer does not dispense the bleach during the sanitary cycle which was the main reason I purchased the machine. Best Buy replaced the machine once for this but the second machine...

I shopped around and did my homework before I bought my new washer and dryer. I wound up choosing the LG front loader. It uses less water and is easy to use, but I find that it doesn't get the white clothes truly clean, even in hot water with bleach. My whites have turned to grays. Another problem that has been "minor" so far is that it turns off in the middle of the wash cycle with some sort of error code that tells you to contact the company. Fortunately, the solution is to unplug the machine and allow it to reset itself, then plug it back in. Unfortunately, you have to re-wash that load, because... review »

I Love my LG front loader.  It uses less water and detergent and gets my clothes clean.  I have had it for nearly two years and have had no problems with it.  Cost a little more than the average washers but worth every penny in the end.  I save on water and detergent and my clothes last longer.  Enery efficient and very reliable.  I have the stool underneath so I do not need to bend to get my clothes into it.  You can wash very large loads at one time.

We needed a new washer and I needed one with large capacity for our bed comforter.  We knew a front loader would use less water and was better on clothers. We liked the looks of the LG and bought the matching dryer too.  Our water bill has been cut more than half and the clothes are cleaner.  We haven't needed all the features yet but we are very happy with what we have used.  We would recommend this washer to anyone.

I purchased this LG front loading washer a couple of months ago.  Great performance and features.  The only drawbacks are a musty odor if you do not make sure the seals are dry after use.  I dry them with a towel and leave open for a while.  It is also very noisy during the spin cycle which may due to the fact that I also purchased the pedestal.  I have been more than happy with this purchase.
