LG - Voyager Cell Phone Review

I just Had, to have this phone when I first heard about it. When it came out I actually had the money to blow on it, since my contract wasnt nearly ending and I wasnt eligable for my "New Every Two" discount. Im too impatient for that, I cant help it! Something newer and Better is always coming out! Like THIS!!

The Voyager, A touchscreen, With a full QWERTY Keyboard, Bluetooth enabled, MP3 player, stereo speakers, GPS..... -blushes- and she talks to me! Comon' now! Who wouldnt want this thing? And I was right. I went to get mine at my local verizon the week it came out and it was sold out. So I waited for the next shipment, then they, sold out. Then the next shipment. I decided to put my new phone off and on hold for a bit and get it as a christmas gift since it was coming up anyways.

Now I just feel bad my mom spent almost three hundred dollars on a worthless touchscreen (thats broken now, and useless.....duh) with a battery life that has always been for crap, and a camera that completley sucks and was outdone by my Original Envy. That was like, Fours years ago! And IT had a flash!

Before I broke my screen I really wasnt impressed with it anyways. It was a little difficult to navigate, and I HATE using a stylus with anything that didnt COME WITH ONE.....(HINT, HINT!!!  LG). A friend of mine who has a Voyager as well uses a stylus and things it works better than just Touching it with your fingertips. But if Im on the go Im not about to be fumbling around for my stylus that didnt come with the touchscreen. I could put it in my pocket but thats not the point! I thought the screen sucked, and ended up using the inside screen a majority of the time anyways. Now, I just Have to. 

Ive replaced my battery Three, Yes, Three times. Paid for only once, because my mans a smooth talker. But thats not the point either! And ya know whats worse?! Is I swear the life with each battery was shorter than the previous. Verizons Best theory as to why. Is all my phone calls and all my texting, and all my downloads. Also the fact that its just a touch screen drains the battery to, so they say. I Charge my phone Literally Every night. Unplug it normally between seven and nine AM. Usually between five and seven is when I get two bars. Which for my phone means it going to DIE! AGAIN! Two bars equals one.

I get like 2 calls a day. My mother, lol. And my guy. I really havent been texting like crazy, and I dont download Anything. Its too expensive! I have to pay an extra thirty dollars on TOP of my original plan just because of the type of phone it is! something about smartphones and PDAs........I dont know?  I didnt care at the time. I was just soo excited to finally have it.

Sure the nifty little thing has a TV on it, that you can watch for an extra twenty dollars. I do love how they have an antenna and not a stylus. When I first saw the antenna, I thought it was a stylus. Im thinking "Right on, this thing Does have everything!"  Little did I know.

I could just do the whole insurance thing..........-growls- But then I would have to pay an extra fifty dollars for something that should have worked like a dream in the first place. I was already so discouraged by the quality of my replacement batteries, and how they have all seemed to make my phone worse every time. That getting a whole new phone, just wont settle me anymore. I want a Whole DIFFERENT phone.

No touchscreen, Im soo over a touchscreen. We all know texting and driving is a big no, no. Now, lol. But I was Pro. didnt even have to look at my keys. Try that with a touchscreen. That wasnt something i thought about, lol. But not even just texting, trying to make a call, just redial a number. It was kind of a pain.

The camera on this phone is a HUGE disappointment compared to my coveted Envy, And my Envy2. The voyager may take great pictures, but what about the flash? From what I can remember the earlier Envy and Envy2 had flashes.I KNOW the Envy did. And I found that Quite useful. I figured it was a no brainer that this bad mamba jamba would definetly have one to. But NO.
