I have to say I really love this phone. After my last few Motorola phones, I've been very dissappointed. So the LG Venus is a breath of fresh air. It's sleek and stylish, yet small in size. I absolutly love the touch screen. When touching the screen, a vibration is given to let you know you pressed the...

I got the LG Venus about 2 weeks ago and have decided to return it. It is a gorgeous phone and I love that I can do just about everything on it without even opening the phone, including read texts, make calls and adjust phone settings. But the touchscreen navigation is just WAY too slow. Trying to scroll...

I am insanely impressed with this phone.  I originally was looking for a different  phone and was a little against the whole "slide" idea.  I really wanted a bar phone, but I am SO glad that I went this route.  The first time I touched this sexy little piece of machinery on the display panel I knew it had to be mine!!  It has an awesome MP3 player that is as easy to use as iTunes.  It also sports a little video camera that captures 30 seconds of precious life.  My children think this is also very amusing and like to play and send their dad little clips of their day while he is at work. ... read full review »

I bought my LG VENUS after 2 Motorola phones and 1 Nokia phone broke with in a year of buying them. I was a little concerned that the touch screen would be too fragile and it would break easily. However, I couldn't have been more wrong! I absolutely adore my VENUS. It has worked amazingly well! It has so many neat features and never freezes up on me. It also keeps its charge for days and only takes a few minutes to achieve a full charge! This phone is worth the money!

Once again LG has not failed me.  I have purchased LG phones from the very beginning and have loved every one of them.  This one is added to my list of loves.  It has everything I need.  MP3 player. touch screen.  I love the fact that I don't even have to open to phone to use it.  My only pet peeve is that I constantly have to clean the screen, but I was doing that with my LG VX8100.

The LG Venus combines a sleek and stylish exterior with up to date technologies. It features a touch screen and a music player. The sliding design keeps the phone slim. A protective leather case comes with the phone and helps keep the LG Venus in good condition. The camera produces good quality photos that can be shared. The phone speaker provides great sound quality. The only drawbacks I have discovered is that I feel I am constantly wiping the screen to clean it of smudges. I wish I knew of a good product to easily keep it clean. Also, the phone vibrates with each command you use on the touch... read full review »

I love this phone. However I gave it a 4 star instead of five because there are a couple of simple things they could have done smarter. The speaker is on the back near the bottom of the phone, so like me if you drop it in your bag in the cell phone compartment it's a little hard to hear when it rings. The ringer is on loud but it muffles the ring. Also,if your like me and have a couple songs downloaded ,you need to put the phone face down so you can hear the music clearly.

The camera is nice but unlike my Samsung phone....they could have tweeked it to be better. It takes a good 3 seconds to capture...

I've used this phone for over a year now and it still performs like a champ. The sleek, touch pad interface provides a great look to that tech savy person looking for funtion and look. The mp3 player is flawless except for the shuffle option which will often play the same songs more than once before it has cycled the whole library. Photos look and print well at the kodak station that you can visit at your local Walmart. The only thing that I dislike about this phone is the 2.5mm headphone jack. Standard is 3.5mm so you have to purchase the headphone adapter if you want to use your own headphones.... read full review »

I got my LG venus about 2 years ago, and since then i'v needed to get 3 new venus's, all because of the same reason. The front of the phone (the screen) would get a little off track then the whole screen would break apart from the keypad area. my phone still worked after this because it was being held together very losely. but i ended up getting a new venus and the same thing happend! then i got a new one and it happend again! i'm very careful with my cell phones and some how the venus still broke. Don't get me wrong i LOVE the venus but its just getting to expensive,I recomend you do not get... read full review »

I love my LG Venus. It did have a glitch where I could receive text messages but couldn't send them. Verizon replaced the phone without any hesitation.

I get tons of compliments on this phone and the color (mine is pink).  It takes great picture, the only down fall of that is there is no flash on it, which does come in handy when you have it.

I got the Venus by LG on a whim, but so far, am very satisfied with it. I would consider myself technically challenged, but have so far been easily able to navigate my way throughout the menu. The touch screen took some getting used to, but it is a good combination with the keypad. Overall, I would recommend this phone to my friends and am very satisfied with it.

The LG Venus is a really nice phone. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was meant for me. The quality of the pictures (taken with the 2 megapixel camera) is very very nice. The phone neither wears nor tears. I have put mine through alot of test and it still works PERFECTLY well. This is a phone that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

The LG Venus is a decent phone for its time. The camera is good, but its missing the flash option which would help greatly.
