 When my business cell phone plan offered the LG8350 free at the time I was renewing during the "new every two" period, I have to admit I was a little cautious  because I felt the salespeople were pushing it on me a little too much.

Wow, this is a great phone. I have to say though that I have not used all the features available. I believe a phone should be used as a phone and not a laptop - however - recently I have begun to change my views when it comes to these devices. I started texting. And true, a qwerty keyboard would be better - but the user friendly keys made the transition pretty painless.

Although its not a techincal phone, for a beginner or someone just needing the basics. This LG phone is a great chose. Offering a well built phone thats not to bulky. As with most LG phones, its a year and a half old. The battery still charges and holds a charge like new. I've had no techincal or warranty issues with this phone or the last LG phone I owned. No lost calls over this phones lifetime including long distance.
