When my business cell phone plan offered the LG8350 free at the time I was renewing during the "new every two" period, I have to admit I was a little cautious because I felt the salespeople were pushing it on me a little too much.
Then I discovered how easy it was to use--very logical...and I just consider myself an "average" ability tech user. Yes, I use my computer and cell phone daily, but they do not rule my life!
It is durable--I have dropped it too many times to count in the four months I have had it, and even without a cover, it works and looks great. Another plus-- the battery stays charged for days. Also, Its reception is outstanding. Others will tell me in certain places that I am crazy to try a phone call, because they can't get a connection, or stay connected (and they use the same service I do). Meanwhile, I nearly always am able to get and receive calls. I have had one or two dropped calls in basements without windows, but it's uncommon.
Two of my co-workers and even my college-aged son recently got the same phone, and they are equally as satisfied. It has capability for many features I don't use now, but may eventually, so its nice to have that potential for when I need it. Who likes being stuck with a phone that lacks features they may want or need, having to wait two years to get one that has them? I have been in that situation and resented it, but not with this phone.
The phone is available in a dark silver-gray, but mine is a deep, elegant burgundy. It is truly a joy to use!
