usually just making or receiving a call, not duct taped to my cell phone, Every day computer user, a person who enjoys quality, value conscious, not rich, a busy person, expecting good, fair service

LG - VX8350 Cell Phone — 

Lightweight phone with decent feature set, however, I have used the speakerphone frequently, and the phone screeches terribly.  Battery life is horrid.  I don't use my phone more than 60 minutes a day, but the battery needs to be recharged each night.

Hmm--I use my phone anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours a day, and my battery lasts about 4-5 days, without powering it down. Others I know with this phone also have great battery life. I think you should talk to your dealer; you obviously have a problem battery and should get a free new one before your warranty ends.
