LG - VX-8300 Cell Phone —
A few of my friends and I have this cellphone and it's cool how we've customized our settings to our personalities by way of front displays, wallpapers, ringtones, etc.It's pretty easy to navigate through the menu.
Here are some highlights:
TOOLS:
-Voice Commands
-Calendar (with reminder alarms)
-Alarm Clock (3 different clocks)
-World Clock
-Notepad
-Calculator
-Ez Tip Calculator
MESSAGING:
Easy to send text and image texts with sound. In regular text, you can add graphics, animations, sound, or quick text. You can also set-up a signature.
CONTACTS:
-Up to 99 speed dial settings
-Can make group lists which are convenient for sending mass texts. However, you can only fit 10 contacts in 1 list. I'm not sure how many lists you can make, but so far I have 4.
PIX & FLIX:
-Fair pictures under certain lighting conditions. The more light, the better the quality. (Photo examples posted.)
-Zoom options, brightness and white balance controls, color effects, night mode, resolution adjustment, self timer, flash
-Flix (video) are ok. Quality conditions are the same as pix. Sound is ok, depending on distance from the sound. Brightness and white balance controls, also time limit settings.
MICRO SD card is easy and convenient for me because I can easily use the SD adapter and use it directly with my laptop. This cuts out the usage of pix place or using other software to transfer photos and videos to and from phone/pc.
BATTERY LIFE does decrease the more you use your phone (ie. play music, watch videos, use online features, etc.) If you use the phone solely for phone calls, a full battery charge can last for 3 days or more.
WEIGHT - it feels less than it looks. It is pretty bulky, so if you're into slim phones, this one may not be for you.
