I purchased this cell phone after my Motorola Razr bit the dust. I can't say that I'm totally displeased, but after all the hype when they first came out, I was expecting a little more than I got. This cell phone offers pretty much just the basics, with only a few distinguishing features that are both good and bad. The Cellular Video option is something that I've never seen on a phone before, but I haven't used it yet due to the fact that you need to connect to the browser in order to do so. Another stand-out characteristic is the navigation method. There aren't arrows or even pressable buttons; instead there is a "joystick" type button that you have to tap very lightly against in the direction that you would like to go. It's fairly easy once you get used to it, but it can be a little tricky at first. As I said, basic features are still on the phone -- address book, text messaging, mp3 ringtones, MEdia Net (if you pay for it), bluetooth, a few demo games & applications, 2.0MP camera, video, calendar, calculator & tip calculator, world clock, and alarm clock, just to name several. My two main complaints: the alarm clock snoozes every 5 minutes and you can't pick mp3 ringtones as your message tone. The alarm clock issue drives me absolutely nuts because I was used to my old phones giving me anywhere from 7-9 minutes. The message tone issue isn't too big, but it would be nice to have a more pleasant and preferred sound over the very few options the phone lets you choose from. All in all, the phone does what I need it to do and it isn't very complicated to operate once you get used to it. It's fine for what I need it for, so I can't say that I'm too dissatisfied. It's not a good phone, however, for someone who needs something a little "smarter."
