I only have one negative thing to say about this phone. After you send a text or do anything in the menu, you have to use the back or end button to return to the main screen on the phone. Most phones will return back to the main screen if you just sit the phone down after what ever you were doing.… read full review »

I've gotten this phone 2x. The first one started to sound like I was talking through a metal barrel within a few weeks, then it wouldn't let me read txts from a few numbers. It slowly started to "fix" itself, but by the the battery was already dying quickly and it would turn off without warning… read full review »

I love my rumor. It is the coolest phone I have ever used. I am a text message junkie and the fact it slides to a full keyboard had me sold. The keyboard letters and numbers are big enough to type comfortably and quick since I send dozens of texts a day. It is also cool that when it slides I have it set to make this cool sound. It annoys most people because of how often I slide it just to hear it but whatever. I am also in love with the fact that when I save someone as a contact I can also save their picture so when they call their picture pops up along with their number and their own… read full review »

This is a wonderful phone if you text a lot. I love the variety of ring tones it comes with. It even has a frog ringer and a bug ringer! Super cute! Also has a nice variety of alert tones. I particularly enjoy the knocking alert.  Makes it very easy to text. Also has really cute emoticons that you can add to your text messages. I like the fact that  you can also download pictures and music from your computer to your phone.  I love this phone and recommend it for anyone who uses text messaging a… read full review »

I got the Rumor after having an old Spring phone for about 2 - 3 years.  I needed to upgrade because Sprint was about to drop my old phone.  I found the Rumor up at a store and bought it that day.  I have loved the phone so far and havent had any problems with it.  The camera takes sharp 1.3 mp pictures and has a good sound quality when talking.  I wish you didnt need to buy a microSD card to take videos, but then again videos do take up a lot of space. … read full review »

I have the phone.  I love it except for two things: When I go to the web and access My Space I get kicked out.  Really weird, on My Space. Also, the pictures are horrible.  My old phone I use to take pictures all the time and develop them, now they are just horrible. —… read full review »

Ive had the phone for almost a month now and I have fallen in LOVE with it! I am one of those avid cell phone changers that has to upgrade a few times a year because I get "bored" but I think I have found my favorite! It makes texting so much easier and I love the way it slides and looks when its closed also. Its got a nice feel to it when your holding it and the features are really easy to use. I love being able to set a different ringtone to not only someones call but a seperate ringtone for their text messages also. Ive also used the facebook feature and it is really easy to navigate and… read full review »

I have had two simple cell phone (very basic), since the year of the four Florida hurricanes. Both were of Sprint service, as is the Rumor. — — I enjoyed the simple cells, but fell for the idea that it is a multi-purpose PDA. — — So far, I am limited to the 16 mb memory that is built in, but am looking forward to getting either a 2 or 4 Gig microSD, so that I can use the mp3 function, as well as other programs. I'll be importing them through a Bluetooth dongle from my computer. — — The workmanship appears very good and with the Motorola Bluetooth… read full review »

Before I got this phone I did research on Sprint's site to try to decide on the phone I wanted before I went to the store.  This was actually a phone I did not look at or consider because I felt it had to many bells and whistles that would just complicate it.  I use my cell phone to make calls and do not text very often. —  When I got to the store and looked at the phones I had narrowed my search down to I realized none of the were comfortable to hold or talk on.  So, I looked at the Rumor and liked it instantly.  Very comfortable to talk on.  I have had… read full review »

LG Rumor (lx-260) This phone features a full QWERTY keyboard without the "chains" of a smartphone. It has the ability to switch from portrait to landscape mode by simply sliding the phone's top. Everything adapts instantly to landscape mode when you slide it. — The phone also features a 1.3 megapixel camera that takes pretty sharp pictures for a phone. It does not have a flash, but, nonetheless, it's an okay camera.  The camera also doubles up as a camcorder, which is nice if you ever need to take videos. — It also has a 5-way navigation wheel (with… read full review »

My daughter and i got our LG Rumor Phones together because of a special deal at our Sprint store.  She is a professional texter, she is16 yr old and holds the local record for the most text in 1 month...  last summer... I tell her she's a legend.  She lovers her's, it is sturdy and with stands her sliding it open none stop... vs. flipping it open and eventually the hinges break... for a quick note you can type right on the front of the phone as well.    It is cute and  has fun colors along with fun colored covers to switch when the season or… read full review »

i love my lg rumor! it's comparable to a mini computer! there are many great features on this phone, such as the sliding keyboard, media player, sounds on it,high resolution screen, and the compact size of it. however, there are a few drawbacks, such as the bad camera pictures, its tendency to reset itself, it can't play videos, and it is hard to upload your own ringtones, may i also suggest to lock the keypad? all in all,i love this phone. i recommend it to all who are tech savvy and would like to save money, instead of purchasing the pricey… read full review »

I have gone through many phones and this is one of my favorites. I was using a Treo perviously and it was bulky and I had dropped it alot. The rumor is easy to use and it still have the full keyboard that I loved from my Treo. It has alot of features that my Treo did not. The only problem I have is that when using the pull out keyboard it isn't easy to navigate through the phone or through the web. Otherwise its a great… read full review »

Great phone, definatly a lot easier and faster to text. Didnt know much about blue tooth when i got my phone but it is great. So easy to get songs and pictures on and off the phone. Nice when you have children and want to take a quick picture. its just like the lg scoop. I like the orange one. you can get cheap covers etc.. off of ebay.
