Most HelpfulMy son just left for college, and I wanted to get him a cell phone and service. I want him to be safe and able to call on the road or anywhere and maybe even call his Mom now that he's gone off (-:
Since I am not a big phone talker to start with and rarely use the cell phone I have, I thought I should...

Most HelpfulI only have one negative thing to say about this phone. After you send a text or do anything in the menu, you have to use the back or end button to return to the main screen on the phone. Most phones will return back to the main screen if you just sit the phone down after what ever you were doing. However, I am used to a flip phone and when you close any flip phone it returns to the main screen on its own. This is something I am sure I will get used to. This phone is great for texting, having the keyboard speeds up the process. Calls are clear and minimal background noise. The slider feature is...
review »Before I got this phone I did research on Sprint's site to try to decide on the phone I wanted before I went to the store. This was actually a phone I did not look at or consider because I felt it had to many bells and whistles that would just complicate it. I use my cell phone to make calls and do not text very often.
When I got to the store and looked at the phones I had narrowed my search down to I realized none of the were comfortable to hold or talk on. So, I looked at the Rumor and liked it instantly. Very comfortable to talk on. I have had this phone now for a month and a 1/2...
review »My husband bought me the LG Rumor for Christmas last year and it has been great! I hated texting on my old phone because it didn't have a QWERTY keyboard, so it was just a hassle. This phone slides out to reveal the QWERTY kepboard and is really easy to use. This is the perfect phone for someone who wants more features, but also someone who does not want a phone that you practically need a degree before you can use it! My husband is a real techy, so he does great with the more advanced phones, but I do not need an extravagant phone with all the bells and whistles. So, for me, this phone...
review »LG Rumor (lx-260)
This phone features a full QWERTY keyboard without the "chains" of a smartphone. It has the ability to switch from portrait to landscape mode by simply sliding the phone's top. Everything adapts instantly to landscape mode when you slide it.
The phone also features a 1.3 megapixel camera that takes pretty sharp pictures for a phone. It does not have a flash, but, nonetheless, it's an okay camera. The camera also doubles up as a camcorder, which is nice if you ever need to take videos.
It also has a 5-way navigation wheel (with the 5th way being the center button,) which can...
review »The LG Rumor is a nice phone to have because it slides open to a full key board, so it is easy for texting. It comes in a variety of colors. But I am on my third phone, they still have bugs that need to be worked out. The first one I had would send texts when I was not done. The second one would not charge. And the one I have now has not caused any problems (so far). If someone were to by an LG Rumor I suggest that they get the $7 warranty from Sprint. It comes in handy when your phone keeps breaking. Although it has its down sides of breaking, the full key board is nice, and it also has a tip...
review »The LG Rumor is your typical phone! Pros and Cons! I like the sleek slide out full keyboard, as well as the sound effect when doing so. lol It has 4GB of memory, but you have to purchase the memory card seperately. I like the bluetooth compatibility. The only negatives to this cell phone are: the camera doesn't have a flash, and when texting, there is a 140 character limit. I find it lasts a few days before having to charge it, but that is when using mild to moderate usage. If you are looking for a basic phone, this is a great one! With all the new technology though, this is kindof outdated now!...
