LG Rumor was great...until it got rained on...

I've had my LG Rumor for almost 2 years.  I've loved it most of that time.  I'm a huge fan of the slide-open QWERTY keyboard, and use the text messaging frequently.  I also like the menu layout and overall user-friendly setup of the phone in general.

Unfortunately, I was carrying my phone in my pocket during a rainstorm while I walked my 1 block commute from home to school, and it got a bit damp.  Not soaked, mind you, just damp.
It has never worked properly from this time on - no speaker phone function, no ringer.  I'm stuck with a phone that only vibrates as a call alert.

I would have liked to see a bit more durability from a brand that I trusted.
