LG - Rumor Cell Phone Review

My husband bought me the LG Rumor for Christmas last year and it has been great!  I hated texting on my old phone because it didn't have a QWERTY keyboard, so it was just a hassle.  This phone slides out to reveal the QWERTY kepboard and is really easy to use.  This is the perfect phone for someone who wants more features, but also someone who does not want a phone that you practically need a degree before you can use it!  My husband is a real techy, so he does great with the more advanced phones, but I do not need an extravagant phone with all the bells and whistles.  So, for me, this phone works great and has some wonderful little features.  There's a tip calculator, so you never have to guess what you should leave for a tip.  This was the first phone I have seen that on.  The camera takes decent pictures and even does video. The phone also has a slot for a memory card which will allow you to save more pictures and video.   It has really cool screensavers and backgrounds included with the phone.  You can customize the ring tones so that people in your address book have their own ring tone.  The phone is light weight and comes in different colors; I have the blue one.  The ring tones are ok, nothing really great but a couple are decent.  The volume varies a great deal depending on the call, so you do have to adjust it often, but it is not difficult to do.  The phone is bluetooth enabled and works great hands-free.   Apparently, you can even use the phone as a modem; except you have to buy the accessories separate.  I do not have a need for some of the features or additional add-ons, but for someone else it would be great.  My husband got this phone for me not long after it came out and got a great deal for it, but it was added on to our cell phone plan.  The battery life on the phone is pretty good as well.  The kids have talked on the phone for an hour and a half with their grandparents and the phone still had two bars left on it.  I have had this phone for almost a year and I have not had any problems with it yet.
